So these guys live in like 2008 or 2009, I dunno why I didn't like them then. I guess I wasn't familiar with them, and didn't know anyone in the band.  I dunno, they could have just really sucked, I don't remember their set that well, just that I was less than impressed. Maybe it was the slamdancing. I met the guys afterwards, they were cool dudes for sure though. They opened for Cynic, who I immediately liked. This seems pretty good, though.

I wouldn't play jazz like i do (good or bad it doesnt matter) if i didnt like metal. Both styles influence each other and my self. Now that doesnt makes me play Jazz metal because it wouldnt Jazz metal.It could be Prog metal/ Avant Gard/ even fusion. But real jazz from 1950/60 its impossible.

Lets give some props to Kevin Talley. The band is amazing, but Kevin Talley is one of the most amazing drum players every since he first auditioned for Slayer, and he will continue spreading his awesomeness onto bands. Misery Index has some wicked drums thanks to this guy here. This is my first time seeing this guitarist, but wow, he has got some major skill. I don't know how many techniques he can perform well , but I haven't see such fast, accurate, articulate playing since Buckethead.
