  • nice kill... Have owned 1JZ SC's NA-T SC's and 7M MK3's in the past, I recently sold my 03 Mach 1 mustang though to get back into a 1.5JZ 91 Supra..

  • well my 1jz is set at 17 psi right now.. it makes 372 hp at the wheels and 480nm :) no wonder people think you used nos :) that machine is awasome :)

  • Same goes towards that mk nos and bye bye mach 1 "again " both are nice cars though I own a gt and a mk

  • Man u just need a 125shot on that stang and by by peice of shit supra!

  • sounds like lethalmach1 still hold a grudge over this race. glad to see you made an impression. =)

  • Nice ! I own both cars so respect to the pony and the mk3

  • That is mustang bro... and from i heard that night from other people was that you were on bottle. Ready for a rematch, odds are it won't be the same as the last.

  • @lethalmach1 2 years later? Really dude? The supra was not on bottle and its been long sold. Must be a good thing when people think you're on bottle but arent.

  • @lethalmach1 lol Want some advice?? Sell that POS rustang and buy a supra so next time you will actually win!!

  • @M3TurboE46 jajajajaj!!!... coming from a guy that owns a disappointment of a car. I would consider that POS as a cuban ferrari.

  • @lethalmach1 I have BMW M3 far beyond your POS stoneage rustang with the same chassis they used in the 60's......736RWHP 4 years on stock internals and still running strong.....Try that in your car KABOOM those goes your POS, sloppy ass handling your car is shit compared to my car.....My M3 is faster in the 1/4 mile, top speed, and can easily out handle that sloppy over priced tiny under powered sorry excuse for a V8....Should have got an LS1 dumb ass that's a REAL V8

  • I like the 1jz but was the swap worth it?? I only ask because I thought about it with my old mk3 but we dropped some coin on a t56 older motec ecu and etc (injector pump rails so on) after a head gasket fail we got it tuned on 26psi doing 509whp. Just wondering how you are liking the the 1jz??

  • 4cyl engine.... Wtf! Retards. Who said that the supra had a 4 cyl engine. That pony got spanked. No excuses. And he jumped

  • who ever owns the mach i can tell that you shifting at redline because mach 1 run out of breath trust me i was racing a friend in his camaro we were dead even when i was shifting at 7000 rpm now i shift at 6400 hundred and i pull a 1-2 cars on him.. Just some freindly advice

  • TAME THAT FREAKIN HORSE

  • Unknown mods=stock w/ flowmasters most likely. Good race.

  • I think I'd still rather have the mustang.. God it sounded good!... Let's turbo the mustang to be fair.

  • @bighunt08 lol turbo the mustang and all you'd see are smoke from burning tires and tail lights from 0-150 in 2.4 inches. those 4v engines are beastly

  • @bighunt08 how is a 4.6 liter with an after market turbo/s vs 2.5 liter with factory baby turbos fair? how about both cars completely stock to be fair. no disrespect to mustangs but thats not very fair at all IMO. and yes the stang did sound nice

  • @slowmedown89.. Youre right its not a fair comparison at that point but my point is I guess that I'd rather see how both fair running without turbos.. Then again others will say that it's not fair to compare a v8 to a fourcylander without a turbo. And I know power to weight is key but using a turbo is a crutch being used to mask something short on power in the first place.. Sports cars should be able to perform without them.. Like a lotus.. Or a vette..

  • @bighunt08 you make a good point but i dont think either of these cars were designed for track racing. they are both gt/touring sports cars that have lots of power options and weight. personally i love anything that is front engine rear wheel drive that has gobs of power(turbo or not)

  • but i thought tq wins races?? guess not all the time...

  • @HotGritz910 when your racing at the track with slicks yes trq wins races

  • Yea man! I like both cars, but I'm all for the supra!

  • How long were the stock twins ran at 17lbs? I've watched several vids of it, car does really well! Props!

  • @DarkBB2 Months. Car loved it. I even had them at 20 pounds. I only changed the twins to go single....

  • @BlindDrifter Awesome man. What single did you end up going with? That car ran really good with the stock twins, really shuts up the hype that the twins are no good over xx amount of boost!

  • @DarkBB2 Car ran awesome on twins. I hate how everyone says that they blow up after 14 psi. You just have to take care of them and make sure they are not crap when you first get them. I put a XSPOWER T70 on it. Look through my vids....

  • very nice BlindDrifter. i thought i was going to be disappointed at first. i should have known better.

    <3 mk3's all day long

  • Damn, I thought those things ran harder than that..

  • go cry to your mom mustang

  • I run my ct at 13psi all day everyday

  • yeah supra just says TTYL lol thats how ive won alot of races by being able to hold a gear to at least 7500rpms

  • Cool.

    Loved that boost!!!

  • sounds like that stang could of stayed a little longer in a gear

  • aren't the 1jz turbo's limited to 15psi?

  • No thats BS.

  • first gen turbo's had ceramic blades which failed under high boost .

  • 16lbs before they blow useless hot air

  • Not true.

  • @BlindDrifter the blow up part is true.

  • @BlindDrifter They just blow up at that point.

  • Do you say that because the intercooler can't cool that much air?

  • 1jz the unsung hero motha fuckas!

  • stock twins can hit around 22psi. but I don't see them lasting long there. I haven't met anyone who runs them higher then 18. that seems to be the accepted safe limit

  • it all depends I guess. I've heard so many stories of them failing before that threshold and messing up the engine. "BS" or not, i wouldn't take that risk.

  • well yes they are vary unpredictable and pretty unreliable. I've heard of guys blowing theirs at stock 8psi and some people have no problem at 20psi. but I agree with you importdreams500 I wouldn't take the risk either. mine are set at stock 8psi and I probably will up that later but definitely not over 15 or 16

  • stock boost on the 1jz is listed as 10.5psi but with the last two swaps I've seen and my swap we all held around 11 and peaked at 12 it depends on the shape of your waste gate, how accurate your boost gauge is and the shape of the turbo's but as for the max boost a guy that's been with the shop I've recently joined has been running 18 psi on Soarer ceramic's for a year in a E36. He blew the original ceramics after a 8 months at 22psi on Supra MKIII ceramics but he's going big single (1/2)

  • this weekend so I wont be able to tell you how long they can last at 18 psi (2/2)

  • @ImportDreams500 nope, the ECU cuts boost at 14, but like every turbo car there is boost cut. but a simple wire cut lets you boost away. i personally know 2 cars that rans 18-20psi and they were DD

  • owned ford

  • the mustang got wiped, lol. Yaaay for the supra!

  • He's not running that 4V out enough. bogging her...

  • 4V? That's not a Cobra

  • the mach 1 had the 32v just without the supercharger

  • awesome

  • JZGTE, great engine.

  • take that ford!
