You could raid the non-movement bosses as dps easily with this. IE, my affliction warlock only uses 6 binds for dps (normal spells and macroed trinkets).

You can make this with xpadder or joytokey.

Anyway you will need to use lots of skills on wow sooner or later. You'll need to configure it yourself and get used to it, so you can make a decent player when you start doing instances, bgs, arenas, etc.

I use over 30+ skills (magic, pots, trinkets,mount...) with my holy paladin , bindpad helps a lot ;3

Wow can't be played on a gamepad, period.

If you want a MMORPG that plays on a gamepad try FFXI or wait for FFXIV.

This is absolutely pointless.WoW can bind functions to practically all of the buttons on your keyboard,and hey!...here you have the possibility to miss out on that to play that game on a controller! ...o_O.Why would anyone want to make it such a pain to play an mmorpg with a controller that has practically crippled accuracy+functionality over mouse+keyboard? Also,keep playing it with a pad,then put it aside to "reply" via keyboard; repeat that lots of times - you'll get tired of it fast ;).

I don't understand how this is a convenience at all. All your videos and pictures show a guy with his feet propped up with controller in lap, you can do that with a keyboard too. I would think the most difficult part of doing this would be any kind of pvp whatsoever ESPECIALLY getting ganked. In my opinion, a lot of work for really not that much trouble saved.

Team Fortress 2 has its own 360 Controls built it. Go into the console and type "exec 360controller". Your controller must be plugged in to the USB slot, or synced with the wireless adapter.

Using this command maps your controller to play the game like you were playing it on the 360. Apparently all the buttons are the same on 360 as PC when using controller :)

Hey, not the first question on this topic. Unfortunately the plug-n-play kit does NOT connect the wireless X360 controller to a PC for gameplay. All it does is pull the 500mA current off the USB port to charge the batteries. .. the problem with your other skill slots, which depending on the player can be alot. Personally I had no add-ons and I only played with an additional bar above the normal one. The issue with this is how good will you be moving your cursor with the right stick while maintaining your barrage of attacks on a character while choosing your skill slots.Other than that I am a console gamer and I think that if these changes could be customized as I stated I think there would be no prob w/ a controller

..also its a great idea for putting the skill slots on the face buttons and using the left trigger as a modifier but if you want to be more effective in pvp I would suggest switching the right trigger with the left bumper, that way you have your modifiers on the left letting you rotate the camera with the right bumper that way you do not have to worry about taking your finger off the rotate button (LB)to access the 9-12 skill slots. Heres the thing, for all pc players a mouse and keyboard will always be top priority over a controller. Now I have not used this yet and I plan to when I get my new comp. I have played wow on a m&k and here are a few flaws with the controller I see. 1st targeting the nearest enemy is something I have never used so switching that with jump would give you a better feel(L3) imo, next interacting/targeting should be put on the same stick as moving the cursor i.e. R3.

i downloaded this and got it to work with a wired xbox 360 controller. it is really fun and i think it makes wow easier to play. the controls are really smooth and well put together

once you get the hang of them. You should really give it a try.

probably just wow, in default form as when you would hit A for instance, switchblade makes that signal appear like 1, triggering the first action bar item. If you customize it tough, you can make switchblade trigger any key with a button on the pad.

So it's just a matter of taking time to set all the controls right

Don't be starting up calling names, especially when you're dead wrong. Halo was originally developed for PC/MAC then MS bought Bundgie and made them release it for Xbox. Team fortress was originally a Quake1 mod, then it got redeveloped, then it got ported. Using controllers is like people who use keyboard only for FPS, you just can't compete. Sorry, but unless you're playing against n00bs, you just can't aim as quickly or as accurately as a mouse.
