  • I was wondering about getting a manual hydraulic splitter as I have come down with a very bad flu and couldn't splitter my wood. I'm sorry to say but this unit would be just as much effort for me as my 8lb. maul. The wood I split is usually 18" to 24" round and 20" long. I can't see lifting the round up several times to split it. My wood weights any where from 50lb. to a 100lb. Thank you for your posting as it has shown me a product in my case to avoid. Sincerely hobocat451 clear for now

  • I'll stick to my felling axe, just picturing my bank manager's face on the log I'm splitting makes it much easier!

  • he split 3 small sticks and sounds like he just finished a Marathon..no thanks

  • @john67361 he probably sounds like that cuz he was talking so damn much while working gabbin all his oxygen away

  • Thanks for making and posting the video. I've seen these for sale and was wondering how they worked. But, I think I'll stick with my maul and wedges. If you have a bad back, I can't see lifting your foot and standing down all day is going to do anything good for it. But thanks again for the video.

  • Thanks for the real world demo, I have a bad back and cutting wood with my axe just kills it. Something like this would help out alot.

  • You'd probably get more done with an axe than that thing. Looks like more trouble that its worth on things 3" or 4" in diameter. IMHO

  • WOW Funny Ass Shit

    smaller wood burns faster

    it does not save wood

  • crap
