Define Evidence!? Logic based on what set of presumptions? What is proof and who defines it!? What is what? Compared to the rest of the Universe we are nothing more than ants in the bottom of a garbage can trying to fathom the entire city outside it! Our language limits us. An ant may crawl on the arm of a human asking "where is human?" Where is God? In the same way so many ask this when God is right there...little children understand this. Its very sad how we all forget as we grow old.

My negative opinion of christians comes from the countless times christians have tried to convert me to their religion. I respect anyone's right to believe what they want, I just wish christians would respect my own agnostic beliefs.

I say, let the kids be old enough to choose for themselves, don't get them to be ruled over by a set of rules set by "god".
By the way, why is it that any anti-specific religion comments are voted negatively? Just because you don't agree with comeone doesn't mean to censor their words. No one tries to stop you from showing your choice to believe in "god", so don't stop them from voicing what they think of it. Let them have their opinions, just as you have yours.

Because most christian religions can't be asked to read the bible, they just make up and read around what ever suits them. EG. The bible never once mentions hell as a place bad people go when they're dead, it was a burning rubish dump outside jerusalem. And it also says that we don't go to heaven when we die.

My thought of god is just another person to blame. Think about it, the hurricanes, people say god is trying to punish us. How about just saying it was a powerful act of nature and not a punishment of god? all those people who died in Katrina were too stupid and reluctant to leave. So, IMHO, god is just another thing to use for blame rather than accept the things that are real.

Oh people please! Don't you remember singing that song when you were a kid (if you're in Canada, Us, or any ohter Christian-based society? I do (and I'm gay atheist) who was delighted to see this little guy sing his song with all the hand movements I didn't have when I was a kid. Found it by mistake and glad I did.
