Wow I'm sure no one noticed this but the first robot he had to fight, that was zog! He looks nothing like the film version... THE FILM VERSION GOT ZOG WRONG!! Though if I'm wrong, u can't blame me cause well it's a 60's cartoon, hard to understand what they are saying.

i'd just like to say that i much prefer the 1980's series. also this looks like a western type cartoon, i'd hardly classify it as anime....oh and another thing, his dad looks like a chicken. but astro is totally cute, i love him n.n this is quite good for such an old cartoon i must say :) his day was a lot better in the newer series but you dont see him again
