How does the Criminal Jury Trial Process work?

Ugh! I am so mad my bestie has to have one of these. I feel she has no hope. I can not wait to go to her trial. I am afraid to hear the judge give her 25-30 years over a guy that was abusing her..**tears** : (

So does the criminal process trial have a Judge that can decide who is guilty or non guilty or is it only the jury?

@shiney94 I think the jury decides if you are guilty or not based on the evidence and then the Judge will give you a sentence or let you go.
