mate been using logic quite alot lately in college, its alright but real hardware with pro tools would give you the best chances

i have logic at sixth form aswell. tbh its all to do with the plugins with audio instruments. pro tools is better for audio, yes but logic is better for midi. the're both industry standard so its really up to the user...

you don't need a midi keyboard. you can add one one. its all on the emx if you want a stand alone. you program it and it places out a standard jack cable!
