you should be able to select the snowball as your recording device in control panel > sounds and audio > audio > sounds> recording devices. You have to plug in the mic first.
nice guitar, silverchair rocks...btw, i have a snowball, but every time i want to record i have to restore my laptop to it's factory settings..(windows7) any advice?
@jlbang24 I have the same exact mic and a pop filter always helps for vocals. But don't waste $20 on buying one. You can make a decent one for free and it will work just as well.
The first position is the best for recording anything in front of you basically. Position one is regular cardioid (Records only things in front of you) the second position is also a cardioid, but it basically makes it quieter, suppose you'd use it if the stuff you were recording was too loud and you couldn't stop the audio from clipping. The third position is omnidirectional (it will record in all directions) But you will also get the reverb from the room then.
Wow if they stick a camera in that they could make a USB with a camear and we could call it a umm Web Cam. What di you think it will work. Nah people will never go for it. But they Buy rubber shit. Lets face it people we are stupid humans we will buy old technology again they just know it..
NO MIND. NO MIND. Too many MIND. --- You have some really nice guitars there. I love the gibson sound on the hummingbirds, but always felt like they were hard on the fingers. Still stuck with yamaha thou. Check out my linkin park cover with the yamaha fx370c.

Third position sounds best for guitar recording in my opinion. I just bought one and am waiting for it to be delivered. So i'll note that...
