@MatsuokaTsuriki im 14 and i wear makeup only on special occasions such as parties or picture days but now that i think back...i kinda wish my mum(whos asian)didnt let me buy makeup because it really can ruin your skin,it makes you age quicker!!rather then wearing makeup i recommend focusing on your skin first as in watch more vids on skincare so you know how to care for it.makeup can wait!u r still young!im doing this aswell because skincare is more important for me now!u only have 1 face!

@MatsuokaTsuriki Hey my mom is the same and makeup can ruin your skin especially drug store stuff, but if you still want to then start out small like one day ask for lipstick or lip gloss then the next week or so ask for blush or a single eyeshadow and so on. This is what I did.

@MatsuokaTsuriki I know I'm not bubz, but I thought I'd share my input. I started wearing make up my freshman year at 14, and, it won't ruin your skin, so long as you take care of it. You need to choose the right makeup for you skin, if you have oily skin, go for something oil free. Get it? And wash your face regularly, as well as moisturize. Don't just put the make up on and not take it off. And when you're starting out, go for lighter make up, it'll take you a while to get the hang of it. C:

@MatsuokaTsuriki ik i'm not bubz but i recommend putting on a little make up at sleepovers when your mom isn't around as you still get to look pretty but your mom won't know (sorry but thats the only suggestion i have) but remember you don't need make up to be pretty i rarely wear it and when i do i feel like i had a confidence boost which i wouldnt if i wore it everyday. @MatsuokaTsuriki LOLOLOL I'm not Bubz either, but yeah, makeup is actually pretty bad for your skin. It makes it age quicker, so I recommend you put on makeup as a regular basis once you reach at least senior year or college :P Natural beauty is already at its best ^^!

@MatsuokaTsuriki I'm no bubz, but ToxicWastelands is right. Makeup makes you age faster. Also, maybe instead of wearing makeup to make yourself prettier, just take care of your skin more. Like make your skin radiant and flawless by cleansing your face and eating healthier. Moisturize, etc. Its alot of work but healthier and longer lasting.

@MatsuokaTsuriki yea, my mom uses my family as proof too. i have lots and lots of aunts, and one started off early in like college believe it or not, and she looks terrrrible without makeup. and one other aunt who never really wore makeup and only focused on skin care, and her skin is amazing! (but also genetics has to do with it too) but i'm a freshman in college and all i wear is tinted moisturizer at times and mascara. usually i don't wear any unless i'm going out at night.

@MatsuokaTsuriki at your age foundation is REALLY bad for your skin because of all the changes your body is going through, but I'd respect your mom's decision about make-up and in about 3 years ask again or find a middle ground if you think your mom would agree to that. YOU'RE YOUNG ENJOY IT!!!

@MatsuokaTsuriki Well, I think it´s completely normal for you to wear make-up. Just do not follow all the steps in tutorials like these from Bubz. You have no need for foundation, blush, powder, neither eyeliner or bronzer. Just a bit of corector if some acne appears and a bit of mascara. And a lipgloss - is a must for a 15 years old! :) It is not bad for you. Though I know many girls that like to keep natural (completely) and wear no make-up (I look up to them) but I couldn´t be that way. :)
