How can discrimination be positive? Why do women need a handicap in everything? Are they saying that women are so inferior that they need a handicap in everything?

I think this was an interesting response and I have to say I agree with her on the most part.

I believe that positive discrimination should be avoided as much as possible, but if there is a workforce that consists mainly of men, then an employer is perfectly entitled to use positive discrimination in order to employ more women If a man and a woman apply for the same job and have exactly the same qualifications, then one might employ the woman. This is just one example of a situation where positive discrimination is a good thing, but no employer should be forced to use it.
