  • Glad to see not much has changed, lol. Been over 6 years now since i made that run. Thought they might have gotten rid of with with all the changes they've made to basic since then. was part of the 320th, flight 777.

  • how old was your husband when he enlisted? I'm 25 years old, am married, and have a son. I've been speaking with an Air Force recruiter about joining...but i feel like I'd be out of place around a bunch of 18 year olds.

  • he was 21 when he left and he was one of the youngest in the flight so i dont think u will be all out of place

  • Hey i joined when i was 24. you will probably be the oldest one in your flt but its fine being that age and joining

  • where was this at? texas?

  • Yes, it was at Lackland AFB in the outskirts of San Antonio, Texas.

  • This is so awesome...it was so emotional and it brings back memories...It is so hard to let go as a parent, but I know that my son has a great future ahead, and graduated over Easter weekend too and is now at Sheppard AFB training to work on Fighter Planes-F16 and manage a group of guys..I am so proud of my son and all of the young Airmen...they are the greatest! Air Force Warriors are number one always!! 322, 285...What is your husband training for at tech school?

  • yeah i was very emotional that whole weekend... i'm very proud of my husband! Right now he is in Sheppard AFB too..training for Hvac he'll be gone for 19 weeks i miss him so much it'll be all worth the wait! =D congrats to your son accomplishment! =D
