Though I'm a deep rooted Franz Ferdinand fan, I think Ellie's voice is better for the song and the music of the band. Alex's voice is just too deep to match for it to match up

That is one of the most pityful covers I have EVER heard. I cringed until my shoes fell apart and I actually like Franz Ferdinand but this is plain awful! And what the hell is "La Roux"? It looks like a man who wants to look like a woman and sounds like the average auditioners from one of those lame talent shows they show on tv.

debbie harry and the band give these songs life. Blondie were in the same vein as these bands, alternatives but were so much more quality. neither Laroux and ff have 4 transatlantic number ones.

I like her voice... but i think she only needs little more experience on stage... she looks quite stuffed on stage and looks in floor all the time. and that makes even her voice to sound little insecure. but there is no doubt that she will absolutely rock after some time, its just a matter of practice ;)
