i think i understand what you are talking about when i see joe's scenes. they try to push into our mind the acceptance of a new type of dressing for man (and i hate those sleazy manipulation attempt ). but i think they ve got a good point when they talk about the practical aspect of some of them.

I think we overreact, though. they've been doing that for years in europe, the irish men wear kilts (dresses), didn't american cowboys have bags of this nature as well? what about native american's way of carrying items, didn't they use satchels? and lastly on the man purse, aren't fanny packs much gayer than the man purse? lol. cavemen wore fur. we have become different through advancements and culture, sure, and that's not our culture, but it doesn't bother me. should it?

also for the kanye at the airport, i provided pictures of kanye west in an advertisement for man purses to provide more evidence. or the one at the award show. or the picture of him in the fur. or the picture of pharrell with a giant purple purse.
there is no culture difference that can justify the fact that pharell is holding a GIANT PURPLE PURSE. it wouldnt matter what race he was, or where he lived, a man carrying a giant purple purse is what it is.

i guess its all in how you see the world how much this video bothers you. i could be over-reacting to some people, but through my eyes everyone is just in a state of not reacting to anything.
what i see is at the beginning, both characters are against the fur, and the purse, and through rigorous convincing of their friends, they in turn end up wearing both fur and purse, and even fight to keep it.
thats strange behavior for a man.

as you can see in the video when the woman character tries to justify the purse to Seinfeld she says, no its not a purse, its European, as if the word European itself made it something different. but in the end of the film he refers to it as a purse.
the "blood" hang sign you were referring to is actually the 666 hand sign. commonly mistaken for the "a-okay" sign. you can see political figures like clinton, or musicians like tpain doing the same hand gesture. clinton is of course not a blood.
