those are all good questions. ultimately we can't convince you, you'll have to figure it out for yourself, but i've found that he does reveal himself. you say there's a natural way to explain things. who or what provided those natural explanations? maybe in a certain situation the answer is the laws of physics. how did those laws get put into place? how is this planet so perfect for us?

Ok, the at least once part... so God when he created us desired to have a personal and loving relationship with us. Because of the forementioned sin we are seperated from this connection. Now God presents us with the oppourtunity to reconnect with him through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ- However, this is based upon free will.... The option is always available but it is soley your choice on whether to pursue or deny a relationship with Christ. Regardless of your choice....

God continues to "show himself to us" and gives us the chance to willingly turn to him, and well this usually happens when we've completely exaushted all other means of fufillment, such as relationships, achivement, ect.

Alright, and on your second question about God's motivation. Underscored in the bible, people were created for God's glory- which means to glorify his name in all that we do- like how we treat others or the jobs we work at. I just read a verse the otherday that kinda of touches upon what your asking- it's in Romans 9- the part about God being the potter and us being the clay. You might want to check that out.

God does not want us to simply pray, or go to church, or do nice things. God wants to have ahold of your heart, to be a central part of youe life, influenceing actions, providing support and love, as well as guidence..... God does not want people to go to hell, but it is b/c of our choices and inborn seperation that leads there. Our sin and denial of Christ lead to the seperation and death of our souls commonly referred to as hell...
