people like ron paul because his positions on the issues seem to be derived from a combination of what he believes are important values and his analysis of the issues. that makes him admirable. the problem with political parties is they don't seem to produce candidates with any values other than furthering the corporate agenda (putting profits ahead of the welfare of the majority of citizens) and special interests.

no matter what happens for the primary, Ron Paul deserves a position in the Fed, hes got a plan to attempt to bring fiscal and economic responsibility back to America. Ann Coulter, love her or hate her, wrote the best reasons why Ron Paul would be the best candidate in one of her op-ed pieces.
