I am crying a river right now because I am suffering so much emotional pain. I suffer from anxiety and depression. My husband and I are getting a divorce. How is God Good? He's letting me suffer. I have asked him to come into my life and lift this dark spirit from me but so far nothing. I really wish I could believe that God is good. I feel so lost and lonely and distraught right now. I don't know where to turn.

I have bi-polar depression and from one minute to the next I can go from being happy and in a good mood where I am smiling to depressed and sad and crying. I have more depressed moods than manic moods. It's hard to go on sometimes. I saw my therapist today and he said I need to do things to take care of myself. Once again thanks

@iscrca I tend to find that when things are darkest, like you must feel they are now, I find that being around other Christians is what strengthens me. When you can be with others in the presence of the Lord, the problems we have in this life seem so distant. I will continue to pray for you! Much love to you and for you in Christ's Holy name. @prisoncop1860 Yes, I find that true, God is the light at the end of the tunnel. I have no car so it makes it hard for me to get to church. I know that there are lots of churches that will arrange for rides. I have been reading my bible as well and working on getting closer to God. May he bless you immensely,
