  • most of his exercises actually have pretty good form. you have to imagine the position of his bones with his form, like the bones are pretty damn close to where they should be but the shape and size of his muscles makes it appear to be otherwise. and even if it was bad form its obviously working for him lol

  • Building muscle is about INTENSITY not form..with lighter weights you can focus on form but when training HARDCORE and lifting heavy all you need is a contraction..that's why you vary sets and do drop sets and strip sets and rest pause sets etc. to mix it up but it is when you push yourself beyond your limits you will exceed your limits..Steroids or not.. proper nutrition dedication and years of sacrifice is what it takes..so educate yourselves..this man has my respect.

  • @tomodonnell3 It is not necessary to maintain full range of motion to achieve contraction..watch Branch, he is achieving contraction with his so called shitty form by youtube form experts and it is the intensity that pushes muscles to grow!..That's why Branch is professional Bodybuilder and you Form experts are not!

  • @tomodonnell3 Also..when you do lighter sets you can focus on better form..And great form or not other muscle groups always come into play when lifting ..when you are working a primary muscle(example chest) a secondary muscle is also being worked(example triceps) and then thirdly (shoulders and then back and so on).

  • @JAEDOGNYC yeah thanks i know what a bench press is. I find it funny when bodybuilders say 'its why im a pro bodybuilder and youre not'. They're bodybuilders because they pump loads of steroids into their bodies and abuse their genetics, even if i have the right genetics im not gonna get that big because i dont take steroids. Hes not achieving FULL contraction in his biceps by swinging and moving his arms, he'll get to a certain point and the other muscles will take the weight.

  • @tomodonnell3 Even if you took steroids you will not reach these Pro's level..That's why there aren't many whom are amongst the elite although there are many who use steroids..like it or not they made their decision to use anabolics and it is part of the sport and it is their life and in the end everyone dies but not everyone really lives..These guys are living to their fullest potential at doing what they love..Again it is INTENSITY that makes muscles grow not FULL contractions!

  • @tomodonnell3 Not YOU again!...You know nothing about me!..I have been training naturally for nearly 2 decades and though i have sustained a couple of injuries years ago I recovered and came back stronger!..I am not going to start lifting lighter to make you weak jealous numbnuts feel better about yoursleves..Keep lifting like a girl(though some girls lift heavy) and never gain a shred of strength or size!

  • @tomodonnell3 And like in any sport sometimes injuries come with the territory but that's the difference between regular schmo's and those that are above the average..Besides I haven't had any injuries in years as my technique on the bench was off in the beginning(trial and error)and is what caused my injury to my pecs but I corrected my technique and like I said have came back stronger and stronger..

  • @ryanp200 Dorian is one of the few pro bodybuilders who trained as strict as he did. That and the intensity he trained with made him the best bodybuilder ever.

  • i heard that he was walking don his stairs at his home where he tripped and injured himself out of a competition...then i believe 3 weeks out of the 2011 Olympia...outside of a TGI FRIDAYS..walking down the handi-camp he lost his footing, and feel on one of his knees...i admire his dedication, work out ethic and strength...but i think he is carrying too much weight for his 5-6 height...he is rather clumsy, loss of coordination if can't walk correctly without falling and hurting himself

I'm not taking anything away from Branch but he does jerk and rock his body in a lot of his movements which goes against what you're told in bodybuilding to keep strict form.

  • @roidworkout yeah it is easy when you take drugs. List 1000 lbs and just hold it 5 mınutes, and you wıll gain muscle :). When you take hundreds of galoon roid you can gain muscle with this proper form!. But guys like me ı mean doing weightlifting without drugs should do this moves in proper form for stımulatıng nearly all muscle fibers. Actually Ronnie or Arnold vs ( they were takıng drugs too) doing these moves in really good form. You can push your limits in proper form too. Bad from still :)

  • @leblaith some do some don't. it's whatever works for them. you look at dorian yates one of the greatest bodybuilders of all time and 6-time mr.olympia, he would never train sloppy, he had perfect form on everything and squeeze with each rep, and he had an awesome physique. then you look at ronnie coleman, again one of the best, 8-time mr.olympia, and he would never hold and squeeze anything, he would just move massive weight regardless of form...it's just whatever works for their body

  • @badcanadian You can't lift heavy with 100% perfect form. Print it on an a3 piece of paper, font size 72, and stick it somewhere where you can see it everyday.
