I've got mine since 1 year now, a blue one and i must say this SAMSUNG NC10 is SUPER!!! Realy i don't regret at all to have perchased it because despite it's low sound capacity, it got everything built-in and super slim/small that you can carry anywhere as a profesional or evryone who love speed working computers!

So does saying ebooks are not excellent as normal PC are just wrong!

I like the NC10 a lot but Toshiba now makes some incredibly solid netbooks that feel very sturdy. Not saying it's better or worse, just throwing it out.

And the camera is just some Sony Point-and-Shoot camera. DSC-W90.

If you have a NC-10, press F2 at startup to enter the BIOS and change to boot order to boot from USB-CD first before Internal HDD.

Which colour would you prefer? the blue isnt the best...looks ugly from inside....it's either black or white.....white doesn't seem as glossy as black but inside or with the metalstrip thing...black looks amazing,i'm not sure which one to get....what would you advise?

Neither of them are glossy, both of them have a matte finish, so it's really personal preference. I chose white because it matches with my room.

When you turn on the computer, keep mashing the F2 key until the BIOS menu appears. Nagivate to the boot options and make sure that it's set to try to boot from an external CD drive first, before the HDD.

Yeah i do weak Radio Network Analysis, so i have to use Backtrack a lot (Slackware (SLAX) Network Security Distro). I don't pay for my internet, i use the airports industrial radio network service, its over 2 miles away. (Using external hi-gain semi-directional antenna). I get like 6.5mbps for free.

The point is, the only way i would ever be able to decrypt the airports 2.4 -2.6 radio frequency services would be to use backtracks applications, and its nice to boot from inside windows. =D

Okay, I plan on getting this netbook, but I'm a little confused as to why they would give you CDs when there's no CD/DVD driver(unless I'm mistaken). Do you have to get an external type of driver for the instillation to work? :-s If so, what kind do you recommend within a reasonable price?

Yup you have to have some type of external drive to use any type of CDs. To boot from a CD, you have to plug an external drive via USB. If you simply want to install something, you can use the CD drive from another computer and configure the computer to share it with your netbook.

No, it doesn't have an internal CD/DVD drive, you have to plug one in as shown in the video.

If you don't have another computer, then I highly don't recommend buying a netbook. A netbook is really more like an expansion of your primary computer. For your first computer, I would recommend buying a regular laptop or desktop.

No, It's an internal HP drive with a SATA to USB connector attatched to it.

You shouldn't worry though. If you connect any optical drive to your netbook through USB, your netbook BIOS should instantly recognize it as a generic optical drive, so you shouldn't have any problems booting from a CD or DVD.

Samsung NC-10 looks a lot like the Acer Aspire One I was thinking of getting. Only thing you didn't touch on was how that one button under the trackpad works.

Well, it's not one button or anything. It's basically two buttons held together by one piece of plastic. I know it's hard to explain, but it's kinda like a see-saw. So don't worry, you haven't lost your right-click. ;)

And surprisingly, Windows 7 runs very up to par with XP. The only thing that's preventing me from using it as my main OS is full compatibility with all the hardware. Nonetheless, 7 looks great. I'm just gonna gonna have to wait for the final version to come out.

Oh ok. That's cool then. And yeah I haven't tried the 7 beta because most of my stuff doesn't have Vista drivers, which I hear are the only ones that work in 7 besides it's own drivers.
