There isn't anything dangerous about this at all. Furthermore, the raft isn't really bound by ettiquette to wait in an eddy before going down (don't get me wrong, I hate raft junkies just as much as the next hardboater). It would be nice but the rule of thumb if you will, is that down river has right of way. NOT the playboater. this is a case of what are clearly noobs in both craft in a terribly over dramatized video post in imho

look its not exactly dangerous but it is funny. playboating rules but ill give slalom a go. i just think the playboater's trim is completely worng- thats my main concern. rolls up to upright and looks like they're gonna capsize backwards. u need to move forward in the boat.

JESUS CHRIST PEOPLE! Whitewater boaters are supposed to be in this together! I K1 playboat AND C1 slalom, so I know about both. Everyone needs to calm down. Do you guys realize the exchange of comments on this video and on each other sounds like an SNL skit?!?! Last time I got hit by a slalom boat was when she decided she was going to leave an eddy and surf a wave just as I was coming downstream! It works both ways, but it does hurt more being speared by a slalom boat than a playboat.

Last time me and a slalom boat had an acquittance, i was stuck in a hole, he shudnt of come down as it was the start of his run and in training! Needless to say he needs a new boat and was a tad sore the day after! Respect us and we'll respect you, if not expect a angry response, though in this case very little danger!

that's for sure. I was pinned between a raft and a rock once, and then got flipped so i was pinned with the bottom of my boat on one side cornered by the raft, and me on the other pinned by the rock! That hurts!
