I don't see what the problem is about eating Kangaroo. It is very healthy, it's an actual meat that is high in some types of vitamins, it is GOOD FOR YOU! And you think it is a CRIME TO EAT KANGAROO? I don't see a reason why you can't eat kangaroo, but it's ok to eat cow, chicken, lamb, pig and all the rest of it.
Kangaroo are so very common in Australia, and yes, i live in Australia. There might even be more kangaroo then cow in Australia!! There is no problem in eating it.

Wasn't one of their top hits called "throw another roo on the barbie?" Personally I think Swedish meat is better. It's a great source of WHITE meat. firstly, kangaroos are generally not killed for "dog food" - humans eat them too, mostly OUTSIDE of australia. secondly, in many parts of australia, there are SO many kangaroos they are considered a pest. There are tens of millions of kangaroos in australia. they are a food source, they always have been. think about that next time youre at macdonalds.

Thats because their natural corrodores they normally travel through have been fenced off by farmers effectivally trapping them. Don't beleive the lies. In Tasmania one million Kangaroos were shot and left to rot in one year alone because Tasmania is one big logging state and the kangas eat the plantations. Thats because their natural habitat has been logged!

Roos are the most envirnmentally friendly red meat available in Australia. There are strict regulations on their harvest and as mentioned popuations have dramatically increased in numbers and range since european settlement, resulting in increased water and food supply.

as any Aussie would know... it's nice to pat one at a wildlife park but in no way would you go messing with one bare handed in the wild unless you wanted some serious injuries. this one on stage is pretty big and it's tame so its playing as would any boisterous animal. if it really got mad it would just kick the crap out of everything in sight. you can hold the rope then if you want to. my money is on the roo.

We actually increased the number of roos in Australia when we cleared bush for farming, opened up alot more grazing land for the roos aswell, there are literally 6 in my inlaws backyard as i write this - and 2 yellow tailed rock wallabies - now i think they might be close to being endangered but there are still 1000's of em.

well 30,000 for the dog food industry isnt that bad, considering millions of them are killed for human consumption. Its not like they are killed willy nilly, every year a "target" is set (normally between 3-7 million) depending on the Roo population so we can keep it to around the 40 million mark

The desert has come from farming hard hooved animals like cattle. Farming kangaroos with soft pads is a much better. The meat is superior, much lower in cholesterol and little methane (very bad greenhouse gas) produced by the kangaroo comapred to cattle.
Don't listen to the people who tell you kangaroos are endangered, they are in plague proportions, just go to Australia's national capital Canberra at dusk any night....they are everywhere.
