Do you know what version of carol of the bells this is? I have been trying to get this particular version for seriously 5 or 6 year..lol My family has passes, but there is like no effen cd or anything they sell with this version on it! and it's frustrating!
This version is from David Foster - my second favorite version, but only by a tiny margin. And with this, I can say I've seen both performed by fountain shows. Drop me a note through my user page if you can't find a copy, and I'lkl email you an mp3. This is a high-energy cut, perfect for fountain choreography of the WET Design style (the other works better on Waltzing Waters equipment).
The static fountains (the arch jets and the big misty sprays) are on variable-speed pumps, hence why their height varies and why they slide up or down rather than instant-on. The other nozzles are WET Shooters: Mini, Macro (outer edge, sloped) and Super, which are fired by compressed air, though the force of the shot can be varied depending on how much pressure they're fed - the SuperShooters, for example, sometimes make a big boom and sometimes not, depending on what the programmer wants.
@JonasClark oh! i didn't know the sloped ones were called the Macro shooters... oh that means redoing my History on the fountain of nations video!! haha
@JonasClark I have them as hypershooters... i don't think those even exist... the video is on my channel... that was when i was first starting to make my videos... so its not that good.
@WDW1993 "HyperShooter" is an official WET product; these are their second-largest Shooter, in use at Bellagio and Dubai, hitting 240' (approx.) One step higher are XTreme Shooters, at 400', also only (so far) at Bellagio and Dubai. Pardon me: The 40 sloped Shooters at EPCOT are MiniShooters at 100', the chasing lines and ovals in the upper pool are 212 MicroShooters which max out at 80'. Do you know where I can get an mp3 copy of the "Air Battle" music from Surprise In The Skies, used here?
@JonasClark Thanks so much for that info! Now i'm going to start a brand new FON video!! and regarding the Air Battle Music, I sent you a PM with a link to where i got it from! :)
thank you for posting this video! i've been going to epcot for the past 20 or so years every thanksgiving and have watched the fountain listening to this song and have never known the name of it, we just left there on the 6 of december, i miss it! thanks
