  • Cool comparison. I like the V&H Big Shots much better. It's nice to know that the quiet baffles still sound great. The shorter length makes the big bike look a bit lighter and sportier looking without being too bold looking. Yes, that is a compliment.

  • What about the comparison in terms of performance?

  • love the saddle bags what brand and where did you buy them. Oh and as far as sound its hands down VH and looks hands down VH!

  • v and h sound more normal to my ears, nice video.

  • nice editing... this is how you make an exhaust comparo video!!!

  • do you mind if I ask what seat you have on your bike?

  • @jwg335 I've got a few seats, but the one in the video is my touring seat, the Sundowner. You can ride all day on that bad boy in comfort!

  • are those the stock saddlebags? if not, where did you get them? they look stock but i can't afford stock. thanks!

  • @Scoobs5555 yes they are stock bags from the catalogue, they come in dark brown and a light tan colour. Part number 88200-09, try eBay.

  • Did you install them yourself, or did you have a mechanic put them on? I ask, because I bought some V&H for my 09 Low Rider, and I am seeing how 'difficult' it is. I don't see it being too hard, but if you did let me know if you ran into any issues installing them. Thanks.

  • @gwill206 Hi, I had a mechanic install them. Good luck and enjoy those V&H's!!

  • V&H for sure, I did a sound test at full throttle just to see how loud it gets and I got 105ds from 4ft away. I just moved to Germany, hopefully i pass my sound test at registration and don't get any tickets!

  • Nice video man! Excellent the way you cut back and forth between SE and V&H setups to give a true comparison. The V&H win hands down - I got the Big Shots on my own Fat Bob too. The SE mufflers sound pretty much that same as stock FXDF mufflers; wheezy, flat, and just way too quiet! :)

  • @TheFatBobber Thanks buddy, I totally agree. I'm sharing this video so people looking for that Harley sound don't make the same costly mistake as me and buy Screaming Eagle mufflers expecting to get a deep throaty sound. Thanks for your post.

  • @747dom thx this vid has saved me big bucks.I was going to git SE for my Crossbones but after hearing this I'll go V & H.

  • @Westyrulz Good man! You won't be dissappointed.

  • where did you get the saddle bags from!!!!

  • @crzyb1977 they are the standard saddle bags available from the catalogue. Wish I'd got the light brown ones instead as they would match my other seat.

  • @747dom Are those saddlebags Quick-Detachable? I want some for my Fat Bob that I can mount & demount quickly.

  • @TheFatBobber Hi, unfortunately they are not quick detachable...I wish they were.

  • If I knew you, I would have told you never buy Screamin' Eagle exhaust, but I love the V&H upgrade. Beautiful sound.

  • @gwill206 Thanks gwill, I love the sound too. Part of the reason I posted this video is to stop others making the same costly mistake as I did with the Screaming Eagles.

  • Take out the baffles install a PC and a air cleaner. The Vance&Hines sound so much better.

  • vance and hines are better!!!

  • scream'n eagles my arse....vance and hines for sure brother............ride safe.
