I'm a home schooled as well. I attended kindergarten and then was homeschooled by my single mother all the way into GED classes. From there I went to community college and then the university. I have an asscoiates degree and a bachelors degree.

Study was not an issue really. Most challenges came from scheduling classes. I was not an "empty" as some enter college life as. I had my mind already set from my mother and our time together. Homeschooling made my unqiue mind possible.

For gifted children education needs to be more tailored to the individual than mainstream schooling can provide.

Yes I am HS, Every morning @ 5:00 a.m. Learning starts for me; except the weekends. The Good thing is I am finish by 11:00 a.m to do what i want to do. Except when I have to go to a Filed Trip.

Public School is ok, It was not Good for me. I am Glad my dad & mom sacrifice to Homeschool me.

I was home schooled during middle school because my middle school was always on the news and a lot of bad things were going on and not to much learning. So my parents took me out in my last year of elementary and my grades skyrocketed. I learned so much in such a short time. When I went back to school it was in high school and that was only to get my cosmetology license. I loved the short period of time that I was home schooled. My daughter is getting the same benefits. I highly recommend it.
