I'm with you on that one. Much one-anothering has been lost in the system today. But to be fair, our society in general has splintered, making true community hard to accomplish.
On another note, 1 Cor.14:29-31 gives some interesting insight into how meetings commonly went in the home. Much participation and active listening to God among the members occurred. It's a beautiful thing to behold when done well, and Christ's Spirit truly leads the meeting.
I would love that close family experience of church cant find a home church in my area!

Eph.4:16 read and understand what is the design of the church and how it functions as a body together.
