  • Lol

  • Civic side drift

  • I have an FA5 and plan to do time attack.... was the greddy turbo a reliable set up for you? why did you switch?

  • @purvertedmunk wanted more power and to be more reliable,When we toke off Greddy manifold it had crack on it and it only gets 300whp max unless you put a biger turbo

  • run dun dun dun dun dun dun dun!!!!!!!!!!

  • how much did you spend all together on your mods. i only have a 70mm skunk2 exhaust. :/

  • Is that what that is? Or wat?

  • Rev limiter.

  • @glock316 yes

  • Wayyy to loud man.. stock exhaust with cutouts ftw

  • Love your whip bro, I got a FA5 and planning to put greddy turbo too, im just wondering why arent you pushing more PSI??

  • @marcs1130 its greddy turbo it goes up 10.5psi then it drops down to 8.5psi by redline this is 2 years ago don't have the setup anymore , right now I have the Full-Race kit gt35r

  • beautiful i'm jealous my si isn't like that

  • nice FG2

  • Sick

  • What year civic is that?

  • @MrAkuma125 it says 2007

  • That has to be the dumbest 2-step set up i've seen. Your car isn't even gripping and you're having to shift and instantly to 2nd, which is a dumb unless maybe if you have slicks. Try lowering it to like 4k ish

  • This sounds sooo aggressive. Doesn't even sound like a civic.

  • it ticks me off when people say your car is too loud...whats the big deal..big power gains create louder sounds!! do they expect a muscle car to hiss?? fuck no..they want it to ROAR!!! and cause fear in other drivers to clench their steering wheels

  • i love the set up bro fucking love it

  • how do you get your exhaust so deep? is it the test pipe?

  • love the exhuast sounds deep, way better then most civic vids iv watchedd!! :)

  • wat did this cost to do? do u daily this car?

  • @xxnissansilviaxx this car is the only car i have so yes its my daily driver car.

  • @black07si what did it cost to do all this to ur car?

  • @xxnissansilviaxx around $7,000

  • @black07si thats not as bad as i thought...wat do u run at the track?

  • loud but slow start

  • not good to be launching HIGH RPM unless ur a track car -_-

  • @AzNJohn25 no shit lol I was f@king around on the street -__-

  • I like the ivtec turbo on the valve cover sweet si

  • whats the whole setup on the Si. i currently have greddy turbo kit with intercooler, skunk2 fuel rail, Mishimoto Carbon Fiber Oil Catch Can,Unorthodox Racing Ultra SS Underdrive Lightweight Pulley Set, greddy tic catback exhaust system, walbro 255 fuel pump, greddy e-Manage Ultimate, ingalls Engine Torque Damper, buddyclub Racing Spec Condenser (Grounding System). all waitig to be installed. whats the max hp i can get outta this setup????

  • @masshole1983 around 250whp-270whp

  • @black07si

Dude, a friend of mine has basically an exhaust, hondata, a 62mm billet turbo, a CAI, 1000cc injectors and a 93 tune and he's pulling out 509 horsepower.. stock k20 too. And your civic is way too fucking loud man

  • @Enemyofreali7y its open downpipe so yes its fucking loud and when i close the cutout its quiet as if it was stock . i dont have the greddy turbo kit anymore i sold it and this video is a year old.i have a new setup Full-Race turbo kit GT35r

  • what software and hardware are you using to get that info on your laptop? I've bin looking for some and couldn't find any? what do you need for plugs?

  • @Dikon0901 Hondata Flashpro management system this is for 2006-2010 civic si,with this you can make changes on the ECU like Ignition, fuel, cam angle, idle speed table editing. VTEC window. Rev and launch limiters. AFM calibration table. Wideband input. Speedometer adjustment. Corrected Air Fuel Ratio Readiness and Diagnostic trouble codes. Idle Speed adjustment Map tracing & lambda overlay. Advanced Graphing. ect.......
  • damn, i can hear ur turbo spooling

  • sounds more like a muscle car than a regular old honda. lol

  • Yeah thats pretty straight. Nice setup btw.

  • Hell yeah, set tooo highh. espcially with turbo. spinn tires? i think so. set around 4, or 5.??

  • @k20tsab on the street around 3,000rpms to 3,500rpms and track on slicks around 7,000rpms to 7,500rpms

  • @black07si do you actually hook up reving to 7k rpms at track, and if so no drivetrain issues

  • @hjmcneil87 @hjmcneil87 yes I hook up at 7krpms with slicks 24.5x8.5x15 MH , to give you in idea check this video (Kutsuju racing AZ no (trailer queens) Jeremy runs 10's!!! ) start it at 8:06 and you can see this guy reving it around 7.700rpms and hooking up , this guy is pushing 689whp and 484tq and im only pushing 386whp 285tq lol. i dont have drivetrain issues "YET"

  • Damn that's set a little high don't you think?

  • @NonStopRush lol ya i was just fu@cking around with it on the street, but it's good at 1/4mile track with sliks

  • @black07si I was gonna say good luck launching it lmao. Nice car btw.

  • @a0987312245 300 Quay Ave Wilmington CA 90744

  • @a0987312245 yes sir they can build anything and tune anything . here is the number (310)518-4966

  • @a0987312245 what ecu do you have?

  • moooooo....mooooooo...do yall see a cow

  • @2004acurarsx no cow I live in L.A. lol

  • yo why do it say a skunk2 3" exhaust cuz i got the 70mm

  • @ss4life1 i fix it to 70mm , i'll be buying the Full-race 3" exhaust this week. but if you didn't know skunk2 is coming with a 3" exhaust for this car later this year.

  • @black07si WHAT YO thanks i didnt know im so about to get it

  • lol ya man i was just playing with the 2 step but i dont use it on the street only the track

  • @black07si eh hows the skunk2 pro s coilover man? is it bouncy and how did you set your coilover like adjust it to what number? hi tme back man nice car.

  • bouncy and stiff but that's allright thats what i wanted to be stiff ,skunk2 pro s well you only can adjust hight of the car, you cant adjust stiffness

or soft only skunk2 pro c can do that

  • Sounds good, but wow do you have your launch set up extremely high, kinda defeats the purpose of launch "control"

  • Damn, ur car sounds sick!

  • it sounds similar to an srt4

  • i really don't know lol tint was done at the honda dealer they have light, light dark, medium, medium dark ect ect...... at front 2 windows i got medium dark i think is like 25% and two small side ones and big back one limbo i think like5% lol

  • nice ride man...what are the tint window %??

  • hi man, i have almost the same car as you, i drive a 07 black coupe civic si jeje, i made myself a a custom turbo kit, it is side winder like the full race kit, i had to remove some things from it and it has no space, but i made it, i am waiting the flashpro and the next weekend i hope to get it into the dyno, maybe this would interest you, i will upload videos when finished, be in contact man, nice car yours

  • pepek20power i subscribe you, i can wait to see the new videos

  • NOVA: lol, greddy turbo is the lowest turbo out there, search for "swift racing technologies civic", or "full race civic" or "secret services auto civic" (k20z3 block)

Nova would get eaten. All on stock block 8th gen civics have been doing 350-500 whp on those kits.

black07si: I give props for doing greddy turbo and being able to do what you did considering it's a log style manifold. remember, you have more creature comforts than nova, and you can drive in the snow peacefully :-P

  • That sounds good, seem like you did ur research. Now ur comparing all motor to a fully built turbo charged car. What happens if u even the playnig field. nova always wins!!! Motor vs Motor(Nova), nitrous vs nitrous(nova), turbo vs turbo(nova wins again). Motor vs motor, a lil above stock rebuild vs brand new civic with upgrades. Nova won everytime. Jst ask himl.lol. What do u think a bout a neon srt-4 and a wrx subaru

  • the amount of money you need to spend for nova vs amount of money you need to spend on civic is waaaaay dif

lets say... you have 30g to spend total (car and mods) cause thats an even playing field and do what you want with it. Civic wins until you start pushing the money limit. In which case, I wouldnt use a civic or a nova as a modding platform, i'd use an EVO or STI then. (oh yeah, i'm not knocking nova's, i like them), I have an SRT turbo kit, stock motor k20z3, and i'm pushing 400whp.

  • Now if starting from scratch with 30k , the nova would win hands down. You can get a nova for $600-$2000 and that leaves you with $28k to play with. I wish we had sponsors that would give 30k then i could show you better than i can tell you!!!

  • infamousnova tell icewildabeast what happen when you went to the track and race a wrx sti and what happen at the end of the day lol the sti smoked your nove by 5 cars just starting off line and finsh of the linehe got you by 10 cars and you ran a 15.90 1/4mile lol and at end of the day you blow up somthing on your car lol you well spend more money just fixing it then making it fast lol

  • Slow SI that is true, something was wrong with my car, but no excuse for me losing. Besides that sti wasnt stock. My car bogged off the line then 2 or 3 more times down the track, and in the midst of that i blew up the radiator and some belts. It only cost me about $30 to fix. My car had nothing in it a month ago, now it has a motor and trans, all i paid was $3000 for everything to be up to date. tyhats motor, trans, and parts etc..

  • haha.... and every time you run, you're gonna get nickle and dimed to death. Let me know when you're running pristine. Put some vids up!

I'm not afraid to lose this discussion, the reason why i got my turbo kit wasnt purely for racing, it's for more power for highway travel. (and to be a sleeper) Not to mention I'll have better creature comforts than you any day of the week, and better fuel efficiency

  • icewildabeast are you on 8thcivic?

  • i'm on 8thcivic and clubrsx as icewildabeast.

    on kseries-tech i'm wildabeast (admin)

you're welcome to contact me on any of them (although i frequent KST and 8th the most)

  • and you're right, there's no replacement for displacement, especially for the upper end, but that involves lots of money. civics are an awesome platform as an underdog to go balls out and not have to drop 30g's on just the motor itself. And if I was going for a real modding platform, i'd of course go supra, or skyline. but now we're going into a whole new territory. example: why is it impressive for a civic to beat a corvette? cause it costs more stock, not because vette can also add turbo...

  • nice bov at 2:48-2:49

  • ivtecboosted i forgot you were fa5_4lyfe on the 8thcivic lol

  • lol yea that why i was hoping you were on there

  • ya im from the 8thcivic but i dont post, i just read lol 07siblack is my name on the 8thcivic

  • i envy your car are you on 8thcivic by chance

  • Dude put up a new video, im putting my motor together as we speak, im just waiting on some parts. Remember its stock though. So dont let the flowmasters fool u when i beat you

  • hmm...interesting placement of guages n turbo timer...smart idea

  • As a matter of fact its a stock 73 nova.

Stock motor, just intake and carb

  • it's all about the driver! let's race and find out! lol

  • 73 Nova vs 07 Civic Si

bunch of junk parts vs High dollar parts

    3600lbs vs 3100lbs

    6000rpm vs 8000 rpm

All motor vs Built turbo motor

    Carb vs EFI

    Who will Win?

  • lol it's just for fun but for real at track with drag tires set at 6500rpms and for street i have stock tires im looking for a spot for it, at 4000rpms it spins all the way to 9000rpms like the sameway if i had it at 7000rpms and 3000rpms bugs down and drops the boost down that slows me down more then spining, so i'll be geting new stick tires for the the street soon

  • Why the fuuuuuu is your launch limiter at 7k+?..

  • im waiting for my stage 4 clutch lol

  • Im waiting on some track times

  • Thanks man

  • All i Have to say is your car is SICK!!!!!

  • lmao is a honda accord 1997 4door is a family car my parents use it lol!!! my civic si is the only car that's mine,im going drive it for dd and is going to be my big bad race car lol

  • is your other car a subaru. lol!!!! Or are you gonna build some big bad race car like my nova

  • ya i have other car but i dont us it, my civic si is my dd ,400hp is nothing to a stock k20 but over 500hp that's were you start breaking things on a stock k20 lol

  • So what other car do u have to drive? Your gonna break alot of parts

  • a honda civic si k20 came with 197hp 139tq.i wish had the full-race kit, greddy kit has a smell turbo it max at 8.5psi at redline giving me allmost 300hp but i want 400hp ,so ill be geting something at end of the year

  • Dont tell me your buying another turbo. take your car to irwindale and see what it does there, u may like it

  • there is a guy that had one supercharged but it was a k24 and it ran 13s. Both of those cars will have u clinging to the door at high rpms, but when u get the time slip it will say 13s. If your fine with that then go for it. I dont think u have to spend all that money unless your gonna upgrade your motor later on down the road

  • It would have more than 170lbs torque NA. Dont they come with 199 out of the factory. Besides you dont want torque because you launch so high in rpm you wont feel it if you daily drive it. He launches at like 6 or 7k rpm on slicks, on street tires its 3000 to 4500 rpm

  • go full-race kit gt3076r $4,800 with everthing done tune, clutch, flashpro, injectors,Fuel Pump,.....etc $10,000 and you get 420hp at 12psi on a stock motor ,a fullybuild motor full-race kit with a big turbo can make up 720+hp

  • allmotor you need to get skunk2 header,skunk2 70mm exhaust.cold air intak,skunk2 stage 2 cams with valve spings...ect and flashpro it's like $3,800 pluse you need to pay somebody to put the parts and that's $700 then you need to get tune and that's $350 .$4,850 or more and you be geting around 250 hp 170tq

  • Yeah, buck for buck if I go all motor or turbo the price really isn't that much different but at least with the turbo I can set up different tunes. Not to mention more torque which would make the car feel lighter from light to light and when passing. NA is nice but buck for buck turbo is the way to go I think. Like I said before I'm looking for a few hp increase for dd but there are times when I'll want to open it up on someone.

  • go turbo, with skunk2 exhaust 70mm or skunk2 costom 3" exhaust,it's like the stock exhaust but it has a more deeper sound it's nice, that's y i got a cutout to be superloud and to make more power, if i see a cop or starting the car at 5am to go to work or when ever i want, i close it and run it to skunk2 exhaust,l i love my skunk2 exhaust lol

  • Sounds hella nice! Do you think the turbo acts like a resonator cutting down the noise of the exhaust? I know the skunk2 exhaust is really loud with NA but I want to go turbo sometime in the future and want a 3" exhaust without attracting unwanted attention. Thanks!

  • whats the main reason of you wanting to go turbo

  • I want to turbo for a bit more power and the ease of tuning. I'm not looking for crazy hp numbers, but mostly more torque for a better daily driver. I'm still debating if to go sc or tc but I'm also at a point in my life where I don't want to deal with hw drone and "excessive" noise and I know a sc with bolt ons are really loud but better for dd where the turbo acts as a resonator cutting down on overall exhaust noise.

  • The thing you wanna look at is hp per dollar. Its not worth it to get a turbo and you only want a few hp. His car is a lil faster but forthe money he spent it slow. The turbo cost him 4k or 5k alone. If you just want a few more hp then do port work to heads new cam and port intake, headers, catback and maybe a 100 shot.. Thats way cheaper. He only runs 13s, stock he ran 15s,16s,19s etc.... Do u have a k20

  • Yeah, I have a k20. I've thought about NA and nitrous as opposed to boosting but again NA is usually pretty loud and there usually isn't a large increase in torque.

  • Thanks for the input by the way. The more opinions the more to choose from!

  • na it's the camara i dont know y it looks like that but the gauge works fine

  • nice bro!

this is jacko by the way.

whats wit hteh gauge going nuts on you?

  • Type in Honda Civic turbo vs Nova @ Las Vegas, does it bring back any memories of when we raced lol

  • Type in chevy nova vs honda civic, does it bring back any memories of when we raced

  • i have Skunk2 valve springs and Skunk2 titanium retainers so can red line to 9000rpms but for a stock head is good at 8600rpms and over 8700rpms is not recommended, just to be save lol

  • Is it safe to rev to 9k with just a turbo kit, FP and exhaust?

  • the slow nova is back lol hey stop talking shit and bring your garbage nova to the track and let's race! you just talk too much shit but you dont do shit!!

  • Your gonna get a ticket for driving that ugly slow piece of crap!!!! Sell it, if you wanna go faster. Your gonna be dissappointed oct 31

  • thanks man, ya i'll be at the track this time but with a new clutch lol

  • sounds sick man. next track day is october 31st.
