I've never heard of either Diaz being racist towards asians. Actually, Nick has stated a couple times in interviews that he feels that in Japan it's the 'fight game' while in America it's the 'cage game.' I've never heard of either Diaz being racist towards asians. Actually, Nick has stated a couple times in interviews that he feels that in Japan it's the 'fight game' while in America it's the 'cage game.' He probably feels like he just beat someone who is actually a fighter, and on top of that Sakurai is a legend. Nick is always respectful post-fight though

After i heard about the GSP super-fight, I even reserved tickets to go see it (as a B-day prestnt to myself) w/the hopes that Nick would finally live up to his potential & strip boring-ass GSP of his title; but what does he do? In true Diaz fashion, he defied his contractual obligation, misses the presser, & ruins the biggest opportunity of his entire life because (once again) he makes dumb-ass decisions w/negative outcomes

in my opinion nick diaz is next to gsp in the welterweight division. if youve been watchin diaz latest fight you can notice a change in his behavior. he has matured indeed. i believe dana will take note in this and allow him back in the ufc. hes too good to be fighting for any other organization

Finally someone who just hasn't seen one Diaz fight and judge him by that. Ive been getting responses like "GSP will kill Diaz with his striking, Diaz's boxing is shit". Listen, it may not look like Mike Tyson, but Diaz is very dangerous with his standup. And going to the ground, he is dangerous there too. And the thing i really love about this fight is Diaz does not respect/fear the hype around GSP. Diaz knows GSP is beatable, he doesn't have to convince himself all the time

If I didn't know any better, I'd say Nick really does want a chance to beat GSP.
During an interview Dana White was asked by a reporter if, " Nick Diaz would be allowed back into the UFC?" He replied back by saying that he has great respect for Nick and Nate- it's Nick's inappropriate behavior that's the issue.
Seeing Nick actually giving respect kind of shows me that he's trying to prove that he's ready to be put back in the UFC roster.

Nick Diaz has to be considered top 10 P4P. He can beat anyone who ever beat him right now, and would really only hit the old Jon Fitch or St Pierre wall everyone else has. It would be a boring fight either way. All you can do is contain Nick Diaz, actually stopping him, well I doubt he can be subbed by anyone, period, in any weight class. And the stand-up is formidable. Its a tough puzzle. The only answer is lay and pray. And that sucks.

Armbar perfection indeed. He even crossed his legs properly for that armbar, something most people didn't know they can do. The way he paced himself in the ground is very relaxed, and it's the worst place Sakurai could take the fight to (did they forget that despite Diaz winning via KOs recently, his ground game is WAY more dangerous!? @papersamurai The triangle armbar is both a triangle choke and an armbar simultaneously. The triangle choke may or may not sink in in the triangle armbar, but the position of the choke makes the armbar also possible.
