Honestly the Heroin diaries is the only reason I'm alive today. I was struggling with my addiction to cocaine and a friend of mine told me to read it, afterwards I cried and realized that it was killing me and that I didn't want to die that way. It'll be 4 years clean in April.All I can say is thank you to Nikki Sixx for for writing the book that saved my life.

I have read from the HD just about every day since it hit the shelves. It has been a recovery bible for me. I bought $200 worth of tix to the show Saturday (7/9/11). Had a few pix taken in front of the Sixx Sense bus and then drove straight to a liquor store, and got drunk -- ending my sobriety. Accidents CAN Happen.
My accident happened in the summer of 2007. I OD'd from snorting Dilaudid #8. I didn't wake up for 8 days. It is amazing what you see when you are almost on the other side. So thankful I made it back. Nikki is truly an inspiration! I only wish what little family I have left could somehow understand and now treat me as an outcast. Oh, well - such is life. I love you Nikki Sixx!!!

Superb vocals by James Michael. I had no idea who he was until Sixx AM, and I have to say that I'm blown away every time I hear him. Amazing control going from falsetto to full chest voice. Great heartfelt emotion. Kudos to Nikki for choosing this guy to sing!

Superb vocals by James Michael. I had no idea who he was until Sixx AM, and I have to say that I'm blown away every time I hear him. Amazing control going from falsetto to full chest voice. Great heartfelt emotion. Kudos to Nikki for choosing this guy to sing!

@wrfrock i quit smoking 9 yrs ago......once you get past the initial 2 weeks it gets a lil easier everyday . After about a month you begin to forget about your cigs and man, does it do a body good.:) One day at a time my friend.....Hang Tough !

This song is amazing. We played it at my close friends funeral who lost the battle with heroin addiction. I listen to this song constantly, it reminds me of what I have to lose if I let myself slip into active addiction again. The book is amazing as well. Much love.

im going thru some crazy shit right now, nothing awful tho but this song has helped me so much! its kinda hard to give credit to a song but i wouldnt deny it. sometimes u turn to ppl n u want them to understand u, to tell u that its ok, that ur not some crazy ppl or a drama queen. i made that mistake n it really didnt help. so i found this song n i told myself its ok to mess up but i have to get up n make things better for myself. n here i am! fighting but alive.
