I don't think he lived there, in Priscilla's book Elvis and Me she showed a picture of the house herself and Elvis met in and it wasn't that posh or big. It was plain and small that's why she said she was shocked because she thought he have a masive mansion.

The king was stationed in Friedberg and he resided in Bad Nauheim, both major cities. Calling it "rural" is incorrect.

I was in Elvis unit too. 1980-83. I lived in Bad Nauhiem in the American Housing area there. Im from memphis TN too & we saw Elvis around alot there. 3 years I was at Ray Barracks too.

I love it too, because I was born there. When people ask me where I was born, I tell them Bad Nauheim, where Elvis was posted in Germany when he was in the army.
