@alovelytime All you're doing is making blanket offensive statements. "murder and loot". Why is it that the one military that exists to stop this activity is always accused of those same activities. For millenia, armies have committed blatant atrocities against innocents but no one speaks out against them. Finally, when we get an honorable military with some really great well-meaning good-hearted people, we get all this criticism against it. That doesn't make any sense to me.

Does it make sense to go through months, even years of intensive and stressful training and risk untimely death and injury yourself just to shoot and bomb unarmed civilians? Military training seems like a lot of grueling effort just for the sake of murder and looting, doesn't it? If you wanted to kill and loot for personal gain or entertainment, there's much easier paths to do so than joining the military.

whatever sense and motivation one has to join is irrelevant. can you comprehend that? 100's of 1000's, perhaps millions, of innocent civilians have been murdered by the US military since 2001. are you not aware of this fact? the killing of 3000 people in NYC on 9/11, and the possibility of a future attack against the US, in no way justifies the killing of 1, let alone 100's of 1000's of innocent people. this is the outcome of your training. willful stupidity is no excuse for these crimes.

Until you've have undergone military training, or have been intimately associated with it in some manner, you should refrain from making generalizations on what military training entails. Killing innocent women and children? You're out of your mind. Innocents do not die at our hands like you think they do. The current ROE ensures that the military is mindful of fighting in heavily populated areas.

Until you've walked a patrol in places like Marjah in Afghanistan, or Fallujah, Iraq; and actually interacted with the locals to see how they feel about our presence and our efforts to stimulate their local economies and build their schools/businesses, then you should respectfully shut the fuck up.
