the fact that they never "made it big" has preserved the innocence of their art. i think it is a miracle that a band so inspired could slip under the radar to continue to produce such beautiful music without the influence of fame. they may not have been heard by millions, but they have genuinely touched many <3

I got into Nizlopi by accident. I heard JCB Song and thought they were a bit of a novelty act. 6 Months later on holiday someone had left their Ipod in the hotel room I was staying in. The only band i had heard of on there was Nizlopi and the album just blew me away. Just great music with a real heart to it. Wonderful

I was talking to them at a few of their Irish gigs. They've just been on the go for years so they said they're just taking a break to get inspiration and find themselves a bit more and all that artistic stuff. It's a pity because they're amazing live, great crowd interaction and they're just of couple of sound, down to earth lads. They don't know when or if they'll start touring again but more than likely they won't be around this year. does that answer your question???
