  • i would have sex with miss granger

  • I find it quite amusing that the Athiest had no idea what the bible is about. Come to think of it, neither did the Christian. I know this was done as a joke, but the facts still werent correct.

  • @MightyNateDog I fail to understand his misconception. The bible is the single most violent, hateful, racist, sexist book ever written.

  • Does anyone actually know Christians who think like that towards Harry Potter? This is a literal question so feel free to answer lol

  • @MrMrahill can't say i do. at all. The Bible more violence than a lot of people realize, and quite detailed some of it, but most people water it down so it is more "acceptable" in church. I can understand that to some regard, but it doesn't mean that we skip out on it.

  • @ZacksquiresMusic I agree

  • @MrMrahill Im a Christian and i have no problem with Potter what so ever, other than that any of the movies past number 2 were terrible. The books are much better.

  • As a Christian, I think Harry Potter is awesome...

  • Jesus won

  • all that i got out of this isthe fact that Harry Potter is a better read than the bible

  • Anyone ever read Song of Solomon?

  • The Harry Potter series would be better with sex, though.

  • @FrisianDude a fuck ton better :P

  • @FrisianDude you've never been laid have you?

  • This is extremely biased. You compare a radical Christian with an atheist who doesn't push his ideas onto others. Now don't get me wrong, both my parents are atheist, so I'm pretty neutral, but most Christians are not such extremists and in actuallity, many atheists tend to have a pretty aggressive aversion to religious people/beliefs.

  • @WORLDPEACEISHERE96 sorry, but i think you accidentally switched "Christian" and "atheist." because its usually the Christian forcing their believes onto others.

  • @PatsRule1224 It goes both ways, in some cases.

  • @PatsRule1224 I don't think I've ever forced my beliefs. I am annointed to preach the good news not to beat you up about it.

  • @WORLDPEACEISHERE96 Then we should rewrite the Bible, my friend.

  • What the heck is this? Pathetic.

  • this is atheist promotional

  • @Chemistrykillz47 YOU LIE!

  • you have forgot the part that the Cristian punch the atheist at the end

  • @j919or RE: ““all Bibles” (which are the word of God) on the face of this planet say “children” in 2Kings 2:23-24 "Therefore you lied. ><

Yo duh, dumb ass, my last entry pointed out some other Bibles & their “interpretations” which basically means the 42 “kids” that were mauled by the “two bears” were no less “children”. Not 20 year olds like you said.

Your god is proved evil & you’re dumb. I’m trying to help you, so you need to work with me if you want to improve. K?

  • @RRoocckkyy50 No your previous entry said that all bibles used the word children. I corrected u and accused you of lying. Then u changed and stated the different translations of the word. You are stuck and I wont relent until you admit it tht you lied when u stated that "all bibles use the word children"

  • I know it's supposed to be funny but Im Christian and I read Harry Potter and many other fantasy books and watch a shitload of films with dragons and demons.. Ect. I also write books on fantasy. I don't know about other Christians though. :)

  • even if i was a christian i would find this unconvincing

  • I got a sudden urge to go out and buy a Mac laptop.

  • @456whateva RE: “U believe that all religions are false. That is a religion. U follow not believing in anything!! U make no sense’ >< Strange. All I did was nicely ask you to bring clarity to a statement you’ve made; instead you lash out with subjective assertions. (This is a revision of my previous reply)

  • @456whateva I am not an alien. I see no evidence for intelligent life outside of Earth. Not sure where you got ethicity from. Atheism is not a relgion. Do you consider yourself as belonging to any religion?

  • @TheJacob315 Yes...the religion I follow is called Christianity. Why is it such a huge issue?

  • @456whateva Atheist defines as: “A lack of belief in god[s]”. If you don’t have a religion, or if you don’t believe that supernatural beings exist, then you are an ‘atheist”. That’s all, nothing more. There are subsets that stress the differing levels e.g.: hard atheist, Gnostic-atheist, etc. Atheism is “not” a religion. A dictionary simply defines “religion” also. Religions require doctrine & dogma. Atheism is a position where theist claims have failed to meet their burden of proof.

  • @456whateva It must be the week to explain this very same misunderstanding, & you being the fifth one so far; I couldn’t emphasize more on how one should indulge in educational activities as much as possible. Simply putting down your Bible, & occasionally picking up a dictionary could not only improve your intellectual capacity, but help you avoid humiliation by the more competent group. I’ll explain what atheism is to you. Have a seat...

  • Bro i'm a christian and i FREAKIN LOVE Harry Potter

  • Comment removed

  • lol so according to this all Christians dont like Harry Potter?? Nobody is banned from liking harry potter thats crazy, yes the bible speaks against astrology and sorcerers in the old testament but jesus does not condemn individuals for engaging in harmless activities such as reading a book about magic school.. lol i guess we cant watch mikey mouses fantasia either?

  • Ha! This video does a great job of missing the point of where Christians find offense at Harry Potter. Speaking as an atheist I can say too many atheists and/or anti-theists are too busy ridiculing Christians to actually observe what they really believe.

Harry Potter is offensive to them because the entire series centers around a young wizard, which many Christians believe to be a form of devil worship.

If you're going to mock someone be sure to know what it is about them you're mocking!

  • @456whateva Actually I can relate to it cause I used to be a Christian. But I never dislike Happy Potter, so I didn't care when people made jokes about Chistians not liking it.And they weren't joking about what you strongly believe in. They were joking about some Christian's dislike to Harry Potter because of what they strongly believe in.

  • @Anthony13USA WHy did u stop being Christian? U must have been Catholic. Catholic is wayyy more strict and scary.

  • @456whateva Long story short: I read the bible.

  • ouch burn... honestly i hate people who say HP is bad... do to the fact ITS GOT MAGIC IN IT! omg get over it Christian fags! Guess what! its fucking fiction... now stfu and enjoy!

  • I'm Christian and I love Harry Potter and the Bible.

  • Whoa. How did i know when i clicked this video, the maker would make the Christian look retarded?

I've never met a Christian like this. Not a true Christian.

  • i was an atheist. its hard to know your in the dark if youv never opened your eyes. when the human mind has no sensory input it tends to try and fill in the blanks with what ever it want. though when you open your eyes its either gana hurt cuz the light isnt something your used and will take time to adjust or it may just be dark were you happened to wonder to walking around with your eyes closed. in the case of being in a dark place well jesus had a "clap on" installed for you and I :D

  • the stereotypes in this video are awful

  • Harry Potter makes a choice to be sacrificed for his friends, and in doing so is able to come back to life and save them all from evil.

Come on. I'm an atheist, but the only Christians who could think that HP is anti-Christian are the ones who've never read it.

  • Main reason to become atheist: Sex with whoever you want, whenever you want. Oh, wait, Christians do that anyway.

  • @normalpsychology RE: “Main reason to become atheist: Sex with whoever you want, whenever you want. Oh, wait, Christians do that anyway.” >< Promiscuous sex is the main reason to become an atheist? Why would you say that?

  • @RRoocckkyy50 Because it's true. lol. The number one thing Christians are against is pre-martial sex... or so it seems to me.

  • @normalpsychology RE: “Because it's true. lol. The number one thing Christians are against is pre-martial sex... or so it seems to me.” >< I’m a former catholic. Reading the Bible from cover to cover is what made me an atheist! I’m serious, the Bible is evil! : )

  • @RRoocckkyy50 I'm glad you're at least atheist, but you should upgrade to being agnostic!

  • @normalpsychology RE: “I'm glad you're at least atheist, but you should upgrade to being agnostic!” >< Upgrade? Actually, I’m more of an agnostic-atheist. I’m willing to explore the possibilities of a theists claim giving that if they provide sufficient evidence to prove their claim is true. You can guess how often they’ve proven their claim right? LOL!

  • @RRoocckkyy50 Yes! Awesome. I'm on your side and I love you!

  • @normalpsychology RE: “Yes! Awesome. I'm on your side and I love you!’ >< Wow, no flowers or candy; just straight to it? LOL! Just kidding!.. XP

  • @RRoocckkyy50 lol, well-met, bro. Well-met.

  • @RRoocckkyy50 ""proven their claim right? LOL!""

Ive challenged u to dedebate below. EIther accept the challenge or run.

  • @RRoocckkyy50 ""the Bible is evil!""

As long as u blame shift ur evil will increase as will ur denial and justification skills

  • Comment removed

  • @j919or RE: “Lets debate and ull see that either Im not a troll or ull get crushed in debate by a troll.” >< You don’t remember me...do you? I’ve trashed you on eleven other video forums. (I’ve even told you I keep records of all my dialogues on You Tube)

You kept dodging questions & running from me. You would NOT click on “reply” to send your crap talk to me ... Remember? I can refresh your memory. It will just prove you’re a troll. LOL! What did I tell you about your damned spelling!?

  • @RRoocckkyy50 ""It will just prove you’re a troll. ""

So by ur logic if I dont remember you then Im a troll. Your definition of a troll includes ppl that forget Rocky. Now show us all the evidence that I ran from you and better yet show the lame arguments that I didnt answer and I can assure u and the readers that theyll be promptly crushed.

  • @j919or RE: “Now show us all the evidence that I ran from you and better yet show the lame arguments that I didnt answer” >< Us? You include your imaginary fairy too? I’ll just simply post the same questions you’ve dodged; how’s that? Remember how you tried to restructure 2Kings 2:23-24 to sound like a favorably just cause? Where your imaginary fairy sent the bears to shred the little children for making fun of Elisha’s bald head?

  • @RRoocckkyy50 And ur paperthin argument was thoroughly crushed. The kids were youths spanning to as old as early twenties and two bears separated the group and sent them a running. There is no evidence that any of them were killed or maimed.

Id be happy to destroy ur argument all over again.

  • @j919or RE: “And ur paperthin argument was thoroughly crushed.” >< Yes; how many times will you bite the baited hook?

So; “all Bibles” (which are the word of God) on the face of this planet say “children” in 2Kings 2:23-24 however, you say “20yr olds” which are adults.

Unless you can produce a Holy Bible that actually states “20yr old children” in that scripture.

You must now decide whether: “You” are wrong, or “all of the Bibles” are wrong.

Only one can be right, but both can be wrong.

  • @RRoocckkyy50 "Bible that actually states “20yr old children”""

Nah. I never said it was 20 year olds but that it could be youths in their 20s. The NIV calls them boys and the NASB calls them young lads. Other textual clues disqualify little children being the wandering gang of youths. Like hmm lets see....children were closely guarded by their parents and didnt roam in packs/gangs.

Yes folks watch as Rocky runs and avoids. He is caught in a lie, for he said that ALL bibles said children.

  • Comment removed

  • @j919or RE: “The kids were youths spanning to as old as early twenties” >< DT, HCSB says: “Some small boys”. NIV, NKJV says: “Youths”. AB,NLT, GNT, GWT, says: “Boys”. WB says: ”Little children”. AS says: “Young lads” etc..

None of them say 20 yr olds like you say.

Again: You must now decide whether: “You” are wrong, or “all of the Bibles” are wrong. Although you are learning, you still have lost, & have more to loose. Give up pal.

  • @RRoocckkyy50 "None of them say 20 yrs"

I never said that they did but the word that is translated youths, is also used to describe young men around 20 yrs old in other places in the bible. I know that u want me to give up for ur argument is crumbling. But ull soon learn that I dont give up until u admit that you lie again and again. And that your arguments are logically fallacious.

  • @qewhstrjdf RE: “No your previous entry said that all bibles used the word children. I corrected u and accused you of lying.” ><

Really? I don’t remember having this discussion with you.

So you are “j919or” & this is your You Tube alter ego? Now look who’s lying!

Regardless, I’ll correct the mistakes you’ve laid out. Now...

  • @qewhstrjdf RE: “No your previous entry said that all bibles used the word children.” >< No, I did not say that. Here, I’ll paste the original portion:

“So; “all Bibles” (which are the word of God) on the face of this planet say “children” in 2Kings 2:23-24 however, you say “20yr olds” which are adults.”

There, I’d never said they “used the word children”; I said: “they say children”.

C’mon man, get it right & quit tryin to put on the “twist”.

  • @qewhstrjdf RE: “Then u changed and stated the different translations of the word.” ><

No, those are what’s stated in other Bibles (abbreviated):

    GNT – “Good New Translation;

    AB - “Amplified Bible”;

NKJV – “New King James Version”

A Bible thumper like you should recognize these already; wake up gramps!

  • @qewhstrjdf RE: “I never said that they did but the word that is translated youths, is also used to describe young men around 20 yrs old in other places in the bible.” ><

What? From the original Hebrew (Tanakh) text?

So, you are going to be a cherry picker there too? What about what’s phrased behind the translated word in question?

“u’normin qtnim” = “and lads, small ones”. There you have it, from the original Hebrew text.

    You’ve lost.

  • @RRoocckkyy50 And then let me know what other comments sections that you are infecting and ill be happy to crush you there too...for ur own good of course.

  • @j919or RE: “And then let me know what other comments sections that you are infecting and ill be happy to crush you there too...for ur own good of course.” >< That’s easy; just follow where I’ve been from my channel cupcake. I’m getting a fresh, new floor mat now to wipe you off onto. LOL!

  • um dumb asses the lady who wrote harry potter was a christian. man people do your fuckin research. your all so dumb god how are people still alive

  • @brige4737 What has that got to do with anything?

  • im christian and he is a poor representation of one lol

  • @43mineo A; this was staged, B; this argument would fail even if he isn't. Pick and choose your morals from a book, they're only paper thin.

  • @xBlackVenom I do, it's called the Bible.

  • @43mineo Exactly, and it's sad that one can't form their own morals which, naturally, would be stronger than those pulled from a book.

  • @xBlackVenom That book is God's word and what is above God? We are arrogant to say that our ways are above God's ways which is why the pangs have begun.

  • @43mineo It was written by man.... who has never seen god. We should be beyond the gods by now, but some people are stuck in an ignorant mindset.

  • atheism is not a religion, end of story.

  • @xiroxbotx nah really i thought the defenition of religion was belief. look all athiest and agnostics (atleast the ones who arnt friggin dumbasses) know that atheism and agnoticism arnt religion. religion and belief are two completely different things

  • @tpetru1123 My statement was supposed to be directed @evanssnape and his comment that appears directly below mine, I forgot to hit reply when I posted it unfortunately.

Also just to add even more clarification, atheism isn't really a belief system either, though I suppose someone could attempt to argue that with me. But for me personally, I do not view atheism as a belief system either.

Also for others reading this, the a in atheism should never be capitalized unless it starts a sentence.

  • @tpetru1123 But you just said the definition of religion was belief so they aren't different.

  • @456whateva no i didnt did u even read the last sentace

  • @tpetru1123 sentence*

  • Glod bless you guys

  • Kay, this is cute and all, but I firmly believe in tolerating and respecting others' religions, as I want them to respect mine. (By definition, Atheism is a religion; religion refers to a belief system, not necessarily a god.) I think what should be criticized is not the religion itself, but specific radical and harmful actions performed based on religion. THAT has potential for argument. Don't try to change someone's religion. Try to help them be more tolerant and accepting of all religions.

  • Matthew 27:52-53.....really? Not!...dumb

  • @j919or So, ole buddy, ole pal, What are you doing on this video forum? Trolling again?

  • @RRoocckkyy50 Lets debate and ull see that either Im not a troll or ull get crushed in debate by a troll.

Ezekial 26 Tyre thrown into the sea and Isaiah 44 Cyrus

  • This is very ill informed

  • lol "no sex" in harry potter? yeah o_o

  • i can't stand harry potter for this reason its kids with twigs and cleaning supplies....i want to see a man or a sexy woman with a big sword ripping apart orcs.

  • I've never met a Christian like that.

  • @Elijahway14 come to Texas

  • @maidenrulz666 Yes because in Texas we're all stereotypical Christians. Idiot.

  • @booyaaya I never said they're all like that, Im just speaking from experience of living in Texas (and I still do) that I have met several people like that just in the past year or so.

  • @maidenrulz666 I give you that. There are many that are nonsensical and do not represent what we Christians are supposed to be. But those are everywhere and unfortunately the ones that get the most attention. Just like the stereotypical Atheists.

  • "I will not bow to a god a have not seen" Jack 2012

  • Never meet a Christian like that myself... meet some who was stuck up their own arse... just like sales men but most I meet usually are in to science and actually open to ideas. They just think their is a lot of evidence for intelligent design... and some even say the bible is just guide lines written like a self help guide and that you have to find a spiritual way to connect with God. Like through meditation or through prayer. I am agnostic but that's because I see no evidence either way. :-)

  • This is just rediculous and a is a false outlook on christians

  • ummm...i look at the comments for about 2 sec and i see BIG ASS comments....not going to read them

  • @deferdicus i kno the feeling

  • I don't know which christian has been telling you that reading harry potter is bad but they were wrong, God just wants your heart, not your extra curricular activities.

  • @anonymousmagi149 If you actually read the whole bible (most christians dont) God doesnt want your heart, he wants you to full out devote your live to "serving" him and only him. Pretty much a slave. Gotta love Jesus!

  • yo that was NOT a christian, that was a luke warm religous christian; and you sir, christ is still persuing you, and him...

  • God doesn't care if you read Harry Potter, its just entertainment, something to do.. You can read all the books you want, all that matters is that you believe in the Bible, believe Christ as our savior and the son of God, and believe in prayer, I could go to the store right now, and buy a book that revolves itself around praising the Devil, and read it, is that a sin? no, because I would never believe in worshiping the Devil, I wouldn't replace the Bible with that book, Its just a book.

  • When my mom is mad at me, she says she can not wait till the day God cripples me into a wheelchair. She says that because I have a muscular disease. I know that's pretty off topic but would you ever say that to someone? (if you are religious)

  • if you think at all religion looses sorry bible

  • Comment removed

  • this is a typical depiction of how Atheists BELIEVE Christians think. What a joke.

  • @shawnfarand No different than the myriad videos out there portraying atheists as dumb, hardly intelligible, sex fiends.

  • if Christians didn't support Harry Potter then they also shouldn't support Disney for most of their movies. Most of their movies have magic. I follow Christ but I will still read Harry Potter.

  • 3 Chrsitians of diverse background & impeccible literary standing found great power & meaning in fantasy: G.K Chesterton, C.S. Lewis, & J.R.R. Tolkien. They all died before the publication of Harry Potter. But many feel the same principle could be applied the Harry Potter stories. Good & evil. The reclaiming power of love. J.K. Rowling herself says she was inspired by I Corinthians 15:54

"Death is swallowed up in victory. O Death where is thy sting, O Grave where is thy victory?"

  • I'm a Christian and I like Harry Potter

  • I do not like being related to the mac in any way. Guess I'm going to have to convert to Christianity.

  • michael cera vs jonah hill

  • simple simple mindssssss

  • LOOOLLL. I love Jesus, and I have got to say, neither I, nor the Christians I know are like that. I read harry potter, I listen to electro-pop, classical, rap, (secular), I love christians and non-christians.

  • There's a difference between the power of God and witchcraft.

  • @flameboy1236 Yes, the difference is in the group being marketed to.

  • @flameboy1236 just as much there's a difference between the bone structure of the human and ape

  • @flameboy1236 The difference is that the Wicca are not your idea of proper Christians and that they're both religions. The end.

  • @flameboy1236

    Yeah, you're right.

The "power of God" killed millions of more people.

  • dumbest video ever lol

  • What is a TRUE Christian? You are a true Christian if: You have Super Powers- Matt 10:1, Can Handle Snakes And Drink Poison, Can Walk Over Scorpions- Luke 10:19, Must not Fornicate- 1st Corinthians 7:1-40, Must Hate Their Family- Luke 14:26, Does Their Family Hate Them?- Matt 10:21-22, Are Perfect- Matt 5:48, Keep Women Silent- 1st Timothy 2:11-12, Can Bend The Will Of God- Matt 18:19, Can Move Mountains- Matt 17:20

  • that was the worst depiction of a christian, he is a stereotypical narrow mined christian and that is not really a true christian

by the way i am a christian and i read harry potter actually am a really big fan

  • @LiveItRight1234343

A "true Christian" follows the exact words of The Bible, instead of creating their own interpretations, and if you follow the exact words of The Bible, you would be--in the words of Richard Dawkins--a petty, unjust, unforgiving control-freak; a vindictive, bloodthirsty ethnic cleanser; a misogynistic, homophobic, racist, infanticidal, genocidal, filicidal, pestilential, megalomaniacal, sadomasochistic, capriciously malevolent bully.

  • If the christian lost toward the atheist than he's not a true christian.

  • The bible in checkmate.

  • Its silly to say that if you read Harry Potter you are not a Christian.

Also, the way they make the Christian dude look really naiive is also annoying, I mean...

They're spelling him out to be like. Um yeah Cities are burning for a good reason, but that is not what a christian would usually say, they would state that man did that not god, and that by reading the bible you can learn from mans mistakes.

So thats not a good advertisement for a Christian.

  • @xaxie1 sure man did the burning but on Gods orders, read the bible goddamnit...

  • @Trigggggggggggger

I have, and its clear to say that you can never just take the bible word for word, if we all did that we would be pretty much fucked :P

  • Its not about any he vs him or any of that, The end is set and will not change God will come out the victor no matter what. People who believe in God can only tell you about him it doesn't matter if you choose to accept him and walk the righteous path. Its not a war people, its about being a good person and helping others along the way whether you believe or not, its up to you.

  • Lol I like harry potter and I'm christain

  • Just because a few christians dont like harry potter doesn;t mean we all dislike Harry Potter!

  • @TheOther9666 They never said that.

  • @Anthony13USA Yes they did, basically

  • @TheOther9666 Why are you taking it personally? It was Christian v.s. Atheist. Not TheOther9666 v.s. Atheist.

  • JESUS JESUS JESUS JESUS JESUS JESUS

    CHRISTIAN CHRISTIAN CHRISTIAN CHRISTISN

  • I actually really like this video. I believe in evolution, yet I'm catholic. I read and love Harry Potter, I don't see anything wrong with it. As long as atheist don't hate me or my faith, who cares???

  • This video is not how Christians view secular books or music or anything!!!!

The series of Harry Potter was made by a CHRISTIAN author.

It was a way of expressing her struggle with faith and the battle of good and evil.

The guys who made this play have no sense of how christians who are strong in their faith actually believe.

  • @fanoftampa They're talking about the real die hard christians who believe harry potter is evil. Seriously they're are some out there.

  • That was so stupid... You both should convert to the religion of MY HUGE PENIS

  • fuck religion, go harry potter

  • I'm a Christian, and I see other "Christians" do this stuff all the time. It saddens me how ignorant some people can be and give all other Christians a bad rep

  • this guy only has a Jesus piece, but no Jesus peace

  • What is that Fish darwin symbol?

  • @JiiV3e

It's a fish with legs, the transition of aquatic animals to land creatures.

  • @JiiV3e it's a parody of the "Jesus fish" symbol; the legs represent evolution. I disagree with it because accepting evolution does not necessarily make one atheist or anti-christian.

  • the reason we don't encourage reading books like that is because its fiction. the Bible contains facts

  • @mzitchbay So christians are only encouraged to read non-fiction? What do you do in literature classes?

  • @dothedeed read it..ENCOURAGED..not forced

  • @mzitchbay :::The bible contains contradictions and errors. (Bart Ehrman). Facts: talking snakes, the 'rib' story; Jesus was born twice, once under Herod, once under Quirinius. Not so factual after all.
