Thank You MotownMaster from the bottom of my heart...I simply LOVE THE MARVELETTES...Yet so underrated but very VERY talented. Thanks for the tribute. You made my night!!!!
By 1964, The Marvelettes faced major competition, not only from Motown upstarts like The Supremes and Martha and the Vandellas, They refused to record a song titled "Where Did Our Love Go", written by the Holland-Dozier-Holland songwriting team. Instead, The Marvelettes chose to record "Too Many Fish In The Sea" which resulted in a minor hit. Meanwhile, Holland-Dozier-Holland took "Where Did Our Love Go?" to The Supremes, who made the song a #1 pop and R&B hit..and the rest is history
Interestingly Norman Whitefield won on both groups. The flip side of Where Did Our Love Go was a Norman Whitfield written and produced song called "He Means The World To Me"
Wonderful. I grew up with this music and will always love it. The Marvelettes always lived up to their name. Thanks for this tribute and for your channel.
Nice tribute. Finder's Keepers''has the same vibe as the Supremes "Come See About Me". I do have the Deliver The Single's Box set and boy what a great collection it is. As always, thank you for sharing your great stuff.
Excellent MowtownMAster - very wellconstructed - the great Marvelettes - do you have "Reaching for something I can'y have" - my personal favourite of their awesome catalogue?
Here I Am Baby and The Hunter Gets Captured By The Game are just a few of the awesome classics from this awesome group...they are truly The Marvelous Marvelettes!!!
MotownMaster, You did a great job of putting all this together. Thank you. Great Video and Great Song too. One of my favorite. They were so hot and great girl group of the 1960`s.
Very simple song but I never get tired of it.
I wonder why it remained unreleased so long.

The Marvelettes and HDH, this song would have been a top 10 hit.
