The justification given to the Tibetan public by DL, which destroyed the entire harmony of the Tibetan community, is: Worshipping this evil deity is a danger for my life and for the freedom of Tibet. If you Tibetans want me to be dammed and dont care at all about the cause of Tibet, then go ahead with the worship of this deity.

After all, he is Chenrezig and he is omniscient. clavie05 - what a silly comment. His Holiness didn't kill any Tibetan monks; it was the result of an unthinking mob that use his teachings for their own violent means. How do you know that the Dalai Lama doesn't have a bigger motivation? How do you know he's not currently in dialogue with Dorje Shugden now?
