Haxorus :D I was lucky enough to catch a Adamant nature axew and at that point in the game I had earned enough points to get the item that increases attack ev's gained and when i saw this pokemon i put in the work to get the speed one as well. Ev trained on woobats, lilpups and that pat rat thing and when it fully evolved while attempting to take down the pokemon league it suddenly was able to kick ass.

I found that most after the third gen wasn't that good. They keep on increasing the magnitude of the Legendary Pokemon. Now they have god-like Pokemon that can form dimensions or something.

But I have heard good things about the newest Gen. I haven't been able to play anything past Emerald, (don't have a DS) but I don't think I would want to. I like the 2D view the GBA had.

Unless they become totally 3D and such on a major console. That would be pretty sweet. :3

Gen 1: Started the series and was a good starting point. A lot of flaws but birthed one of my all time favorite franchises.

Gen 2: Great addition, though not my favorite of regions, kept the series going.

Gen 3: Loved a lot it had to offer, but it was at this point where a lot of people fell away from the series.

Gen 4: Was really rocky with me, pokemon in it were LOVE or HATE!

Gen 5: Godly IMO, the series has evolved (huehue) Loved the Pokemon, the region and it has the best story to date.

Gen 2: Made the series even more epic and improved the gameplay! WOOOO!!!

Gen 3: Made the series less interesting, even with the remakes and Emerald

Gen 4: Made the series mainstream again, and improvised on stuff that needed it (physical/special split)

Gen 5: Blew my mind

Charizard is one of the worst pokemon competitively because he's weak to stealth rocks(when he switches in with rocks on the field he loses 50% of his health. Venusaur is good because of his new gen 5 ability chlorophyll and the growth upgrade. Blastoise is okay because he has well rounded stats, but he doesn't really excel in much. So for pretty much every generation venusaur was the best gen 1 starter except gen 3 when rock type attacks were uncommon.

Actually, he got those 30 Tauros in an episode that was banned in America. I think it was an episode that involved guns (all I've seen is a screenshot of some random guy holding a gun in Ash's face). I know it wasn't the episode with Porygon, whom we never saw in America. That episode was also banned in Japan because of a seizure inducing scene that involved Pikachu using his Thunderbolt ability to destroy a bunch of missiles.

Bulbasaur: Still at Oak's lab acting as the peacemaker between the Pokemon there.

Charizard: Still at the Charisific Valley training, although it did come back when Ash took on Noland and Arcticuno for the Knowledge Frontier Symbol.

I still prefer most of the Pokemon in Gen 4 to Gen 3. But Gen 1 has great music and story, Gen 2 has awesome maps and music, Gen 3 has some of my favourite legendaries and Gen 5 has a lot of great new features. Not the best designs but every Gen had some stupid designs.

My Impressions of the gens: Gen I: Meh. I mean, I'll give it credit for being the first, but now it's just average.

Gen II: Slightly better, but it's so overrated when it comes to people liking it. The best parts were the Kanto pokemon with new moves. I mean, other than the starter, you were using old pokemon mostly anyway.

Gen III: My favorite Gen. I think that this has the best variety, all things considered.

Gen IV: Back to meh territory. Nothing too special here.

Gen V: Fantastic. 'Nuff said
