Yes, the meat cooks all the way through when it's in the grease.

Yummy! My mom makes bite-sized ones, called lumpia. There's a La Choy sweet and sour sauce that is perfect for dipping.

You can put chicken in there too or whatever. Some people put cabbage in them.
