I really liked this video. I feel the emotion when you talk about what you lost (and gained) We teen/young moms give up a lot. I only had sex with ONE guy and got pregnant real quick and can you imagine how judged I was? I was 16. I know how that felt. I cant go to a college I dreamed about too (UNR) and didnt even get to finish HS because I dont have parents who would help out ( I have a dad but he was kinda like you amde the mistake you pay for it) Im glad your being so honest.

@EmTabbysTTCjourney Depending upon when you start school. I was 10 because I started early but 11 is the norm. There are some 12 year olds too depending on when their birthdays would fall

@theblondesillygirl2 I would say that is very smart next to not having sex but in the same breath I want to say most teens or even adults wouldn't think of using two forms of birth control.

@sarahloves2laugh No, I am actually on the shot. I had to have the implant removed. It was causing alll kinds of problems. I was getting lumps in my breasts and everything.

you know how you say you cant imagine 6th graders having sex? for me i cant imagine 15 year olds having sex. at that age i was focused on just having fun with friends and being involved in sports and school activities. i waited until i was 17-18 graduating from high school. it just makes me sad that it seems like each generation is getting younger and younger with the age they start having sex..

This may be mean but I don't feel sorry for teen parents at all. Yes, they have to give up so much but that's what happens when you have a child and they made the decision to have sex knowing that a child may come from that act.

@rachel51893 Rachel while I completely respect your opinion I have to say for anyone to think teens do not have sex is unrealistic. I was on birth control and was not told by a dr. that it would cancel out the pill. We do not ask that you feel sorry for us but to respect that at least we are taking responsibility instead of running off to an abortion clinic.

@LindsandBaby I never said I think teens won't have sex. I just said that many teens are so naive about the subject. I believe that if someone is having sex, then they can take the time to research what birth control method they are using and make sure they follow what it says to do if they don't want a child.

You'r so strong!! I look up to you and i'm 17. How old are you?? Anyways, i have two kids. And it's a two year old boy ( Owen) and my little baby girl ( Aubriee!) They are my entire world and i would give up skewling and everything for them. I'm thankful for a bonus room in my room, so they have the bonus room in my room and me in my room. So, idk wut i would do if i had to share a room with two kids.

Thank you Lidnesy! You and Jess are like the only people I "know" (lol) that talk about this kind of thing openly. I agree with you 100% about the teens (kids?) having sex younger and younger. My 12 year old brother says things that I hadn't heard of until recently (im 19) and it really makes me sad, and although I am not a mother myself I would just like to thank you for putting all this out there, because honestly these young kids just don't even understand how to protect themselves at all.

@MrSmiles51 There is such a controversy with talking to teen about sex and supplying them with birth control. People argue that giving them birth control is an invitation to have sex.

People may judge you for having sex at 15, however I think your an amazing person for being so honest and sharing this on here:) Your obviously a VERY responsible and smart girl, who perhaps made a mistake, however it does NOT shape who you are.
