Icom IC-T90A Review

hi would you recommend the icom ic-t90a?

I thought i was half smart until i started trying to program this radio. How frustrating!!

i CAN NOT FIND THE PROGRAMMING SOFTWARE ANYWHERE WITHOUT HAVING TO PAY A FORTUNE FOR IT FROM ICOM. Do you have any tips for cheap accessories for this radio and have you ever used the programming software?

Thanks for the review. My only gripe so far is the range on the stock rubber duck at 5W. I do have trouble reaching repeaters, but I'm in exurbs so they're mostly 10+ miles away. I'm going to try swapping out for better antennas to see how it performs.

I have the same HT however I can some "intermodulation". I can pick up police and NOAA weather on the 2m band. I am wondering if you can pick up the same?

I've read about NOAA IM problems, but mine doesn't do that.

Great Video... This was my first HT which I used in the field quiet a bit.. Battery lasting on medium TX was average.. 1/4 whip will increase TX/RX compared to supplied antennea. Did sell mine to local Ham - I do miss it somewhat... more than happy with my Yaesu rigs... Thanks from down under...
