Dick Durbin is a conservative? Huh, I never knew that. Funny how he's from the same state Obama's from and Obama was listed as the most liberal senator while he was in the Senate. Then again Tom Carper is one of the members who has the courage to show himself. and he's from Biden's home state who was listed as the third most liberal senator while he was in the Senate.
Illinois is quite a varied state in regards to political views, despite being considered a relatively safe "blue state" in recent Presidential and Senate races. Senator Durbin won something like 71% of the vote in his 2008 re-election bid, with many registered Republicans voting for Durbin.
Mary Landrieu has been publicly named for being a part of the group. Partly, that is why I guess Cantwell, because she always follows Landrieu when it comes to economic "stuff." Frankly, I have never seen Cantwell as a democrat when it comes to thinks like health care, Iraq, and government funding. I don't think she is worthy being our state's senator.
Hope some of these clowns are up for re-election in a 19 months. I'd like to see them go down. These clowns have never been against the corporate bailouts...but when we start implimenting programs to aid people, health care reform, aid to states, social programs, etc., they scream about the federal budget deficit. Let's scrap these losers in Nov., 2010. With Democratic jerks like these, who needs Republicans?

Thank God for the Blue Dogs. We need some fiscal sanity in Washington DC. Just because the Bush administration ran up the debt with deficit spending, doesnt mean that the Obama administration should use that as an excuse to do the exact same thing.
Yea its called the US Dollar. If we keep up the deficit spending, we will have hyperinflation & possibly destroy the currency. Look at Zimbabwe or the Weimar Republic. You cannot keep printing money out of thin air to fund all this spending.
