I got richard burns rally for 5 bucks on amazon. Its the best rally sim you can get. Rfactor is also really cheap. You can also get the free demo of a couple like Live for Speed and GTR2 on steam.

im a modder for rfactor,and a ex nfs shift gamplayer,i used to absalutly hate shift and un installed it,but yesterday i tried Sharp mod, Link is on Nogripracing , and BY GOD i cant get off it,its truely awesome realism,but still rfactor will beat it anyday.the only downside of rfactor is you need a good mod to have good realism,and there is not many realistic mods out there

have continued to play and have unlocked some nice cars on NFS shift, the game is getting better so i retract my prev. comments finally played the whole nurburgring track so i was a little to quick to judge -- my bad but you still need to play way to much to unlock cars and buy them as well, do the expensive races you'll unlock faster and buy more cars -- sum up, quick racing rfactor, pretty racing nfs shift -- 7/10

I play rfactor, lfs and gtr on pc and nfs shift, dirt 1& 2 and gran turismo on my ps3 all on 1080p resolution with all of the settings on the pc maxed out along with a logitech g25 racing wheel. ok smart ass, what do you know ? do you know how to click on see all comments and read... maybe you didnt see that, but what i do know is that i play rfactor, NFS shift, dirt2 and the best in game menu is one you can click on and start racing not click 10 - 30 times before you have to race.

my specs include a am3 545 cpu 7mb cache, and nvidia gtx 275 gpu + 8gb ram and run everything fine on windows 7 in-case you where wondering its 64bit.

and all this works with my G25 wheel ;)
