Waylon's family still owns the Telecaster with the white pick guard according to the article I read. In the 1990's Fender started making Waylon tribute guitar's that were based on these two guitars.

Keith's wife, Nicole purchased the black guard in an auction for him as a surprise. Keith is a huge Waylon fan.
