Perfect coordination between them - every nuance of the piece accounted for and just flawlessly executed. The bond between father and son displayed at its very best.I've been endowed with six minutes of utter euphoric bliss.
this is very well planned playing. david, stands right, but plays the first violin.igor plays the second violin.
this high trill, by 3:06 is very hard to meet by two everytime. but they manage to screw the trill as exactly as it should be. the same is by 3:50-4:14, the trills are are by botuh violins is the same. it is very hard to play like this. it is also not important to be good alone, this should be practiced till being fainted. shortly : bravo!!!
The green screen looks old fashionned, the piano sounds old fashionned, the moving of camera is old fashionned, yes. But the violins sound looks so modern, the esthetic is so up-to-date... Oistrakh had half a century foward. Fantastic !
Yes. But I am wondering who would have played this piece with Sarasate. The only violinist who could have approached him at that time was Sauret, as far as I know.
Not my favourite Sarasate piece (although Sarasate himself is certainly one of my favourites). But this is the best performance I have heard. Hypnotic.
Yes, very good with the legenday Oistrakh precision. Equally exciting is Aaron Rosand's recording (playing both parts) with absolute control and possibly superior understanding of the "Navarra" mood.
go back in time, hand yourself a violin when your 3 and tell yourself that you must practice 12 hours a day forever and dedicate the rest of your life the understand and love of classical music
Is David on the right? Wonderful piece and performers

In this song thay are one octave apart the whole time. Wonderful! This is great! The music to this is scary looking. I'm starting this soon.
