  • Nico, this video shows what we talked about. Side to side weight shift, without the necessary pitch to make it snappy. Bump over, then out for solid response and no PIO or yawing. :-) And that leg straps looks painful!

  • You like to come in fast don't you, the hot fliers seem to enjoy fast, then low in ground effect, seems to help easy flare at end. Yawing about near the ground like on your clip scares me. Your progressing well though, there are far worse landings than this as you know.

  • Nice Video and edition!!

What king of glider are you flying? is it a litespeed?

  • @GabrielScorza : Sorry to answer that late, dude... it's a a t2c from WW.

  • At 2:50 the wing is level in spite of the figth to stabilize nad the beginners mistake to grab aside the upright. The flair is energic and early. I´m quite sure the landing went out standing up.

Still, Nico, as a beginner with 103 flights only You should not fly a high performance wing and You for sure should get WHEELS !

They dont molest and You will need them one day...

    Stay up, W.

  • Hi Winfried0866 !

Thanks for your comment. Your right for the wheels ! About the wing, I feel okay under this one. This landing was really bad, but I am not used to land like this ;-) I see people making stupid mistakes at 400 flights... As I fell safe I don't really see the problem.

  • I wanted to say: "As I feel safe" I don't really see the problem (and I was talking about my flights except this one ;-)

  • I want to see how the landing ended at 2:51. Getting the rewind instead is annoying. That nose pop and wing roll during the blown grip change could have been ugly. Glad it ended well at least until the pilot's feet were about two feet off the deck. After that, I have no clue what happened.

  • Hi NMERider, the end is not bad at all. I finish on my feet but the speedbar touches the floor.

  • why does the camera swing from side to side?

    like a yaw string?

  • The camera is on a hinged boom. These are very popular for taking videos of passengers on tandem flights.

  • Yes. It's very easy to do but if you do it remember that it puts the gravity centre a little bit forward... It might be better to add weight behind.
