This song is a Thai song from a famous Thai soap opera based on the Thai nocel by Wor Winitchaiyakul or Kaewkao, not a Lao song. The song's name was done like that to show the style of song and associate to the story of the female character in the novel.

@BronRay Actually, it's not Lao song but Thai. The composer uses Lao melody pattern composing this song. There was a trend of music composer in the past that any composer who knew how to compose the song in other countries' melody pattern was a trendy and great composer. As you've seen, many of Thai traditional songs have named as 'Khmer', 'Lao', 'Mon', and etc.
