I saw this flick years (decades?) ago. As I recall, this scene was sort of a recurring theme....very-close-to-naked women getting killed by the phony looking beast. It happened to a couple of other native women who were offered up as sacrifices.

It was '68, so this was more risque than earlier Ashley films, but nowhere near what horror movies would become. I LOVE IT!
