Science Olympiad Nationals 08 Opening Laser Show

My science olympiad team was the only team at state that couldn't afford to buy team t-shirts. We didn't care, we worked our butts off and got first anyway =)

Now, however, the money matters. We don't have enough money to rent a bus to even go to nationals, let alone pay for housing and food once we get there. Anyone care to help us out a little bit?

B51 - Connecticut. That was a great time. First time I actually competed at Nationals (last year I was an alternate). 57th... 56 more years at our rate and there might be a 1st place team from CT (58th in 07, 57th in 08). Oh well, I'm heading into C Division this year so I may never see the National Stage again (Since Putnam Science Academy will most likely win States)

HI dude! I was there too! I was from new jersey. Did oceanography, meteorology, road scholar. Came in 2nd oceanography, 5th meteorology, 11th road scholar. u might have seen me. GO ITALY !

Yeah. That was awesome. Good job. I didn't do very well compared to you [51st [Science Crimebusters], 58th [Tower Building - I didn't get put into the event until 30 minutes before hand], 60th x2 [Balloon Launch Glider and Scrambler - go 2 Construction Penalties :(.]

Hi. I'm from Montgomery. Congratulations. I'm happy that you guys from Community won Nationals twice. This year we got second, as you might know. I hope we go to nationals as a second place team in Nationals, along with Community Middle School.

Pretty sweet. I was one of the people in the dice box at the opening ceremony. B50, NV. Nationals were really fun (didn't look forward to all the tests though).

i'm from colorado (team B59), and this was our very first time qualifying for nationals, so we finished 50th. it was very fun though!

Haha, our team came 29th in Division B- Delaware, Team 30! Just passed the halfway mark.

Congratulations, everybody, it was a fantastic competition. :)
