Everybody can hate me for this but whether you guys like it or not, this is Venom style of Black Metal. Black Metal don't originate from thrash like what WIKIPEDIA SAYS. All you have to Do is Listen to Motorhead Speed NWOBHM, 80's Hardcore like G.B.H. Discharge, Amebix, G.I.S.M, Disclose, The Varukers Anti Cimix etc... Thrash Metal and Death Metal have different Rythms and add more technique into it. Thrash is influenced by hardcore but not the same type of 80's Hardcore.

Venom first 2 albums were black metal but they were not thrash. You can't compare these guys with Exodus, Slayer, D,R,I, Kreator Sepultura Attomica, Gothic Slam, etc.. they barely have any similarities. Listen to D Beat and NWOBHM all day and you'll see Venom don't fit in oldschool thrash section.

Venom just put the name... The true concept was made by Bathory from Sweden, Reencarnación, Parabellum and Blasfemia from Colombia. Also Celtic Frost and Hellhammer took an important part on Black Metal's development.

Haha, Sarcofago was also one of the pioneers, but since they were in a third world country and not in europe they never recieved much credit for it. But the best 2nd wave Black Metal is from Scandinavia \m/

@yuovic Dude, mercyful fate and venom influenced black metal (imagery and lyricwise) but are by no means black metal. The only true pioner can not be other than BATHORY in Europe, although several groups were playing similar music in south america by the time (P.E Parabellum from Colombia).
