Sorry for your loss. But I just had to say that Doc reminds me of my girl, Katie. She does this, too. When she was young, we had a sectional and she would lay down and hide her nose in the corner and just whine. We started calling it the "corner of shame" and to this day, when she lays there whining, we'll say, "Katie's in the Corner of Shame." LOL Bullies are so amazing.

Im getting a Bulldog, and only because we had to put my German Shepard down a few months ago. Im 14, and she was 13 when we put her down, so think about it, from the time I was a baby to a few months ago, we grew up together.

God I miss her everyday. But im excited to get a new puppy.

Thanks for the post. My bullie Gator passed after 13 years of "service". He introduced my to the love of my life, he always put a smile on my face, and after 4 years, I still miss the snoreing.

If our dogs are not waiting for us on the other side, there is no Heaven.

@Sludgelow I'm glad you had your bulldog by your side for that long. My bulldog will hit 13 yrs in a couple months. He's still in pretty good shape for his age and walks in and out of every room at night to check up on us before going back to sleep from on of his many naps, haha. I make sure I give him a big hug and kiss each day. I hope that whenever the heavens does decide to take him back, he'll find Gator, Doc, and all the others and find peace in each others company. Bless Doc... Bulldogs certainly are special... I love my bully to bits and he knows it... He has travelled with me half way across the world... I don't know what I'll do when he needs to go... He's become such an important part of my life and my being able to cope in a foreign country. His name is Alfonso... we call him 'The Fonz'. Maybe I should post the videos I have of him on here too? Thank you anyway for letting a bit of Doc's spirit be shared with us too ;-)

You lost your big (little) guy at about the same time that I lost my two original Scottich Terriers (the Matron and Patron). They were both old and had lead happy, full lives when they passed (about a month apart). You gave your guy a wonderful life, I can see. God Bless you Doc.
