I read your article & read cockeyed all the time (p.s. get some more new stuff!). It seems as though it wasn't exactly warm enough to actually do composting. Wouldn't it be better to do this in summer in an actual compost bin?
Read your article and it seems like you went through it pretty thoroughly for a whole bag. The logical next step would be to grind up a bag (to be truly scientific, grind it up to different extents) and see how well that decomposes. Interested to see your results, if you're up to it.
Man, those bags do seem decibles louder than regular chip bags. Good blog post btw, thanks for sharing your results. Have you tried composting those "corn-starch plastic" disposable dishes/cutlery/etc? I heard they have mixed results as well and require high temperatures to break-down.
I guess it may take a few years outside an industrial composter. But that's better than a few thousand years.
