I was blessed to see Merle and Kris at the Rosemont Theater here a piece back. Merle is a National treasure.  And Freddy, well Freddy is also a National treasure. I am a super secret songwriter who cannot sing or play and Freddy and Merle are players, writers and sangers and so I really enjoy both of these fellows! John Prine, Freddy Powers, Kris, Steve Goodman, Merle, et al . . . hmmmm good!
